The Almond Tree

One of the best hotels in India that we’ve stayed at! Hands down. The service was excellent, and the property was BEAUTIFUL. Historically a ***sion, converted to a boutique hotel. The rooftop was beautiful, and the pool deck on the first floor was welcoming and well decorated with succulents. Check in and out was very easy, and the rides to and from the airport were set up with one ask, so so easy. Incredibly clean, and we have large standards. The food for breakfast/lunch/dinner was superb. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, so amazing. We will be back. Thank you Almond Tree!!

This was a great discovery. Lovely rooms, great service, delicious Rajasthani meals. Warm and friendly staff. For those who like a quieter and smaller format hotel, look no further! Lovely location close to Umaid Bhawan and in a neat and beautifully landscaped estate.

This place was simply amazing. Chetan and the team were fantastic, the service we received was great and Chetan helped to organise taxi's, places to visit in Jodhpur and recommended some truly incredible places to eat. The décor and rooms are stunning and they are kept very clean. If we ever come back to Jodhpur, we will be going back to the Almond Tree. We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

This is a well presented, modern villa in a gated, quiet and wealthy community of Jodphur. The decor is lovely and the heated, small pool is a rare treat from other icy pools in Rajasthan at this time of the year. The Indian dinner on the rooftop was delicious and home cooked. They also offer two set menus; one vegetarian and one non vegetarian. It’s a small concern. Staff are helpful and attentive. Breakfast is simple; some buffet cold items including fruit and cereal and eggs or Indian breakfast items to order. The porridge with almonds was delicious! The property is extremely close to the palace and convenient to the airport. It’s a quiet haven from the inner city havellis and markets. The rooms are nice appointed with comfortable beds.

The Almond tree is an excellent hotel with attention to detail and guests. The hotel is located just outside the hectic city center and is an oasis of well-being. We felt very comfortable and were very well looked after. I would stay here again at any time and highly recommend the hotel. Thank you very much for hosting us :)

We stayed in our trip to Jodphur and It was the best choice. Elegante, super clean, confortable. The staff is helpful and kind. Very good breakfast. The swimming pool was great also. If I would be back in Jodhpur, I would stay in the almond tree again 100% sure❤️

We arrived at night from Mumbai after a short ride from the airport. What I recall was the steaming coming off the pool. The pool is impressive. It’s heated 24/7. Now to the room - we travel as a party of 4 - 2 kids + 2 adults. The rooms provided gave enough space for both kids to be in a separate area. My daughter slept in an annex which looked like a study off the bedroom. The bathroom was very large and luxurious. The room was perfect for all of us with a dining table and reasonable in cost. I cannot comment on the decor, styling and room size enough. I have not been inside a home which has been so sumptuously appointed for sometime. Make sure you go to the roof terrace. This was my first time staying in a luxury home stay. It’s more like a luxurious home which runs like a hotel. The service was slick. Any request was furnished with kindness and professionalism [eg. Laundry, dinner recommendations, text bookings]. I can imagine this organisation growing nicely and offering more options for accomodation in the future. The breakfast, while not a typical 5 star hotel buffet provides for most diets with all the usuals and a small buffet. It;s more than enough with the hot component having ***y options [dosa, uttapam, parents, porridge etc.] Let’s face it, you don’t always need a 30 station buffet everyday of a holiday. I would request them to have some gluten free toast on hand in the future. The hotel is set in a residential area, located in the foothills of the palace. the story goes that the homes have to be built in the same stone as the Umaid Bhavan Palace. There is one home being built in white; not sure what’s happening there. Back to the story…the homes in this area are massive. There’s even the owner of a paan company in the same road and the house is absolutely massive! The location is absolutely fine for travelling around and is nice as it provides a rest after a long days outing to the fort or shopping. It was always my intention to stay at the Umaid Bhavan Palace Hotel, but they were exorbitantly priced. We even tried to go there for lunch, but could not make a booking on the day. When I called, they said they were only running one restaurant. Overall, the Almond Tree met all of our expectations.

The Almond tree is in a beautiful, affluent suburb of Jodhpur. The first night we stayed in a small room but moved to a larger marvelous room (1st floor), beautifully decorated. Staff was always very kind and helpful. The internet at the hotel is TRRIBLE. We had huge difficulties to use the hotel’s internet; Instead of good modems, they are using WiFi Range Extenders that just do not deliver the signal.

Lovely luxury solitaire stay... Very asthetic designed bungalow in premium umaid heritage Society... Clean room, clean bathrooms, good b'fast by order, view of aid bhavan at night, only cons could be location for those looking for city stay... Cab service easily available....
