We stayed at the Hilton near the train station for two nights in Johor Bahru, primarily to visit Legoland with the kids and also for easy access to Singapore. The hotel is large, and the lobby is impressive. We received cookies upon check-in, and the breakfast was decent with a good variety. The air conditioning, bed, and shower water were all excellent. The downside is that the surrounding area is under constant construction (either roadwork or building new structures) and is located at a busy intersection, leading to significant noise.

Beautiful hotel, amazing location and service is amazing:) the only downside, in my opinion, is that the pillows are too soft.. felt like I was sleeping on a mushmallow😅

Spacious room and friendly staff. However, the hotel location was quite difficult to find by car due to the ongoing road construction blocking nearby. Hopefully, the access will be easier once the construction is completed.

Our overall stay was great! The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of delicious food, and we really enjoyed the warm hospitality from all the staff. I had requested a little complimentary surprise for my husband’s belated birthday and our upcoming wedding anniversary, and to our surprise, they prepared two cakes for us! Such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. We truly felt pampered throughout our stay. Thank you, DoubleTree Johor Bahru! ❤️

Warm service by the staff from the reception to the restaurants. They even prepared cakes to celebrate our special day! Executive lounge also had good cocktails and the Italian resturant had good carbonara!

Great hotel with warm, prompt, and attentive hospitality. I really appreciated the pillow menu, which was a thoughtful touch and made the stay even more comfortable at night. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and overall, it was a very comfortable stay. One small improvement would be having Netflix available on the TV, which would make the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would definitely consider staying here again!

Everything is fine but very unfortunate that the room toilet ceiling was leaking. Causing the floor is wet and slippery.

Check in 4.30 pm but tell me room not yet ready, my request all cannot fulfill. Either ask me take corner room or room near lift which both are not my requested, end up i take a room near a lift and is connecting room which room keep knock connecting door. Then room entrance light is not working, tv also not functioning. Wouldn't come back stay again

The room was fine, though it was dusty and there were old toothpaste stains in the bathroom. However, that is nothing compared to the major safety and privacy violation we experienced. The service and management were completely unacceptable. Our room's mini fridge was broken. We called maintenance, but after waiting for 30 minutes, no one showed up. Since we had a strict dinner reservation, we had to leave, keeping our 'Do Not Disturb' (DND) sign clearly displayed on the door.Later, the staff called us saying they were at our room. I explicitly asked them to wait 3 minutes for us to return. Instead, they entered our room without permission while the DND sign was up and changed the fridge. This is a severe breach of privacy and security. If anything goes missing from our room, who is going to take responsibility? Very unprofessional and untrustworthy.
