Holiday Villa Johor Bahru City Centre

We paid $170 for a 3D2N stay in a Superior Room with breakfast for a birthday staycation. Unfortunately, despite it being a birthday stay, no special amenities or gestures were provided during our stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient, with KSL City Mall just opposite. We opted for twin beds because the room was available when we checked in at 12pm; otherwise, we would have had to wait until the official 3pm check-in time. The room was spacious and well equipped with disposable slippers, a safe, shower amenities, and toothbrushes. There was also a full-length mirror and a table, which were useful. However, there were a few downsides. The TV did not support screen sharing, and the beds were quite hard, which may not be comfortable for everyone. Breakfast was fairly average and the dining area was very crowded, so we only had breakfast on one of the two days. On the positive side, we absolutely loved the infinity pool, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Every year I will come and stay at Holiday Villa hotel at Johor Bahru. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts very delicious too. Hotel downstairs got alot of food to eat. Valet is for hotel guest not expensive and valet parking is RM35 per day. Hotel carpark is free parking. Holiday Villa hotel is very near KSL shopping mall and Holiday Plaza. Worth to stay this hotel.

Good location. Near to KSL mall. Room was clean. It will be better to have a shower head set instead of just the rain shower.

Stayed at 23 floor. Nice view from room. Accessible to many places from the hotel. Breakfast served is nice and full of variety to choose from.

The location wise is too convenient. But if you are driving and want to travel further will be jam. As the hotel already like more than 10 years so many things are already very old style. The breakfast is only soso but lots of variety. We love the infinity pool and the pool as it is at higher floor,so the view is good.

Just opposite from KSL city mall and have a lot of food options .Hotel is nice and clean. Pool area is really enjoyable .

The hotel is centrally located at the city center next to KSL city mall, parking entrance is narrow. Beware if you have long car. Hotel amenities are quite limited and worn out. Need renovation. The lobby is always crowded. Price does not match the quality of the room. Breakfast was horrible. Food cannnot make it haha.

Room is clean and nice. But sound proof need to improve, during 11pm I’m preparing to sleep, but can hear the live band sound( assume is from come the sky bar) clearly, and quite noisy.
