Holiday Inn JOHOR BAHRU CITY CENTRE by IHG

Loved loved loved my stay here! Not my first time at Holiday Inn. Everything was good! Like always. Breakfast spread is better now compared to the last time I stayed there. Only downside is, hot water in the room is not hot hot. Already turn the tap to the end of the red side, water is only 50% hot. Not even warm. You basically still shower in cold water. That’s the only turn of for this stay.

Had a great stay at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre for the 2nd time! Staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Location is super convenient too. One concern though - the lift access to guest floors felt a bit too open. Anyone can press the button and get up to the floors, even with the card reader being overridden. Feels like a safety risk, especially in a busy city centre hotel. Hope they look into beefing up security for guests' peace of mind. Overall, would still recommend - but hope they address this!"

overall a very good experience, location is good just that you will have to go up to level 8 for the checkin counter and take another lift subsequently so that is a little troublesome

Super convenient. Nothing short of excellent - location-wise. Room was neat, clean and big for a standard. Water pressure was strong which afforded a good shower with basic amenities provided (eg toothbrush set). AC strong and working. Malls and CIQ just next to hotel. Breakfast buffet was good with a variety of local and western spread. Staff was polite and professional. What more can you ask for? Will most likely return to stay here.

The hotel is excellent, with clean amenities and a 24/7 gym. I would like to express my gratitude to the front office manager, I believe, who assisted me during checkout when I realised I had left my wallet in the room. They kindly escorted me back to retrieve it. I am very thankful and plan to return again!

Hotel is right on top of komtar JBCC.. and its next to City Square Shopping Center. It’s super convenient.

The location of this hotel is so convenient, walking distance from Immigration and just in-between of two shopping malls. The hotel staff are very helpful and nice.

The location of the hotel is superb. Opposite JB City Square and 5mins away from CIQ. Convenience for those that want to stay near CIQ. Connected to 2 malls. Private car park. Do take note that the car park a bit narrow so be careful. Breakfast varieties considered average, free for kids under the ages of 12. The only they lacking of is their lifts. The lifts always got problem. This time round stuck inside at least 5mins. Not able to go up to our floor although floor level had been pressed. Hopefully they able to rectify the lifts so that everything going smooth.
