The Amari Hotel in Johor Bahru is located in a very strategic and convenient area. Most major facilities and shopping complexes are within a 10‑minute walking distance, making it easy to access food, retail, and entertainment without needing transportation. Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel maintains good cleanliness standards. However, some moss can still be found on the windows, especially those facing the swimming pool. Despite this minor issue, the general cleanliness of the hotel is satisfactory. Internet Connection: The Wi‑Fi connection is not stable. It frequently disconnects, which can be inconvenient for guests who rely on a steady internet connection. Parking: Parking is not free. Guests are charged RM12 per day with multiple entry allowed. However, parking is complimentary if the booking is made directly with the hotel.

Had a pleasant stay at Amari Hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was very good. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The spa treatment itself was relaxing, though it would have been better with soft background music for a more calming ambiance. Staff were friendly and service was smooth. The view was average and not particularly eye-catching. The only minor inconvenience was that no comb was provided in the room. Overall, still a good stay and would recommend.

Good customer service, great location just a disappointed that carpark fee is collected for hotel guests.

While the rooms are clean and the location is excellent, our stay was not perfect which caused by several issues. There is no free parking; hotel guests are charged RM12 per day. Furthermore, the parking is managed by a third party, and despite providing our car plate number to the front desk, the system failed to recognize it. This resulted in us being stuck at the gantry for over five minutes while waiting for the intercom staff to verify our payment. We wanted to show the intercom staff the parking receipt issued by the hotel, but he insisted to call to confirm. Additionally, there is a discrepancy in the hotel’s advertising regarding facilities. Although a sauna is listed, the front desk confirmed upon arrival that no such facility exists. This was quite disappointing as it felt like false advertising.

Service tip top. I ask for shaver and got it less than 5 mins. check in quite fast. friendly staffs.

Place is so near the CIQ and near the mall (JB Central and KOMTAR JBCC) and many food place to eat at the 2nd and 1st Floor. They accomodated my request in high floor. Room is spacious and complete toiletries (lack of comb only😂 but neglegible). Breakfast can be improved the choices in western cuisine but the locals might enjoy the spread. OVerall we have enjoy our stay!
