The room was very clean, and the owner's design was thoughtful. They even had an electric mosquito repellent device outside the room (though I still recommend bringing an extra one, as I did encounter some mosquitoes). You can tell if the bathroom is occupied by the light. If you're taking a taxi, the location might feel a bit remote, but there's actually a gas station with a convenience store just a short walk away. Considering the low price, this is truly excellent. However, there are a few things to note: doing laundry costs 7 MYR per cycle, and air conditioning is 13 MYR per day. Also, since the entire building is single-story, there's still a possibility of encountering small insects like ants in the room.

We had a excellent stay here. Came a few days to visiti Legoland. The guesthouse is a good place to meet people due to the common area. Would stay here again if im ever in johor

This hostel 🏨 is genuinely great! I dare say it's unbeatable for its price point. The host keeps the place meticulously clean and tidy. The common lounge area is designed predominantly in black, with a bar-like long table perfect for guests to have coffee and chat. They even provide a gas stove and cookware for guests free of charge. That's incredibly thoughtful! It's absolutely perfect for backpackers looking for a temporary stopover in JB! One thing to note is that this hostel is alcohol-free and pork cooking is prohibited, so travelers should be aware. And finally, a pleasant surprise is that the hostel has a cat that often cocks its head, super cute ớ ₃ờ! Overall, this hostel is truly an excellent place for backpackers to stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay. My room was a double room, very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. He was always willing to assist with anything we needed, which made our stay even better. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Easy to find and a really unique guesthouse, very clean and perfect for backpackers! The owner was super nice and patiently explained everything, like convenient places to go and where to eat. All the guests at the guesthouse were also very quiet, which was a huge plus!

We stayfor two nights at the Guesthouse. The receptionist was really friendly and was a great help regarding any questions we had about Johor or migrating to Singapore. The room was clean, the showers two and free tee + coffe is always nice. It is a 15 minute walk from the Guesthouse to the City Center.

The place is clean, neat, tidy and organised. There’s a clever light system to help guests know if bathrooms are occupied. Drinking water, tea and coffee are provided. You can use the mug assigned to your room. Cute resident cat is a bonus to me! It took me 25 minutes to walk to downtown

It’s a nice one and affordable for budget travellers . Mr Gan is really helpful and friendly . Not too far from the main road to reach to the Hostel
