APA Hotel Kagoshima-Tenmonkan

Excellent location, comfortable and clean. Amazing eating and drinking all around. I drove into Kagoshima for the first time and confirmed address of non-hotel carpark with hotel being 2-8 Gofukumachi, Kagoshima City. I was booking last minute so missed out on the small amount of hotel car parks. I went straight to the car park before checkin ( from north there’s barriers on the road preventing access) had to do a loop around the block passing in front of the hotel, to come from the south. It was only a five minute walk to the hotel. On checkin they gave me a carpark voucher which I presented to the carpark attendant, only costing 1000yen. The carpark is spelled Sen Terrace on google maps but is actually CenTerrace. I paid for the breakfast knowing it was japanese only but it was nice although basic. I did check in early, about 215pm and had to wait till the proper 3pm checkin time till I could get a room, but the reception was friendly and helpful and offered to store luggage, and knew a helpful amount of English. I was in the older west wing but it was modernised and clean.
