This was a fun hotel that had a connected onsen and the meals were quite amazing. You could tell they have put a lot of effort into it. Amazing service. Great for hiking sakurajima volcanoes.

Interesting Japanese onsen experience. For western travellers is a nice way to get insight in traditional onsen culture. Food was so interesting at the restaurant downstairs. Recommend for anyone wanting onsen bath experience, peaceful stay by the water, great views. Really enjoyed cycling around the island using the hotel bikes.

Conveniently located near the Sakurajima ferry terminal. Breakfast isn't particularly good.

I went expecting a traditional ryokan, but I was a bit taken aback because it wasn't the old-fashioned style. The meals were served in a hotel style. The hot springs were good, and the surroundings were excellent. You can think of it as a modern ryokan.

The room was the best part. They also had rental bicycles, which was fantastic. Next time I stay in Sakurajima, I'd like to stay here with my parents.

This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Sakurajima ferry dock. It is located in front of the sea, so you can enjoy an open view, and hot springs are also available in the annex next to it. It's a good choice if you're staying in Sakurajima.
