It is very close to the center of Kagoshima, but you need to walk up the stairs. The room is large and has a microwave, so you can cook, which is very good. But the area is a bit hot, so if you are alone, you should be more careful.

The first stop of our 10-day trip to Kyushu was this B&B. It takes about 6 minutes to walk from the JR train station to the B&B. There is a supermarket on the road where you can purchase some ingredients for simple cooking in the room. The host also thoughtfully prepared pots and pans. Dishes, etc., gave us the feeling of going home during the trip. The room was also very clean, and there was a washing machine for drying, but the slippers were a bit old. I will choose this B&B next time I come to Kagoshima. In addition, for self-service check-in at the door, you need to send an email to the landlord before checking in. Although it feels a bit complicated at first, it is quite convenient after the operation, at least you can communicate without using language.

The room was arranged on the third floor, requiring climbing stairs, which is inconvenient for elderly guests. There were no issues with cleaning the room during their four-day stay. More garbage bags and designated areas should be provided for guests to dispose of their trash.

5mins to Kagoshima-Chuo Station and nearby supermarkets. I was assigned a room on the second floor, but there was no elevator and I had to take the stairs with my luggage to the second floor. The room was large, with a mini kitchen and various tableware. The cleanliness was generally ideal, but there was obvious dust accumulation on the air conditioner. The hotel has sent self-check-in reminders via email in advance, so the process of self-check-in was smooth.

It is a serviced apartment hotel located a few hundred meters from Kagoshima Chuo JR Station. You can check in at the apartment building by yourself. You need to register your information in advance on the email sent by the other party. When you arrive at the door, please pay attention to the email containing the unlocking code of the front door. It may be a headache to find the password because the email is all in Japanese without English. Enter the hotel and check in by yourself on the first floor. If you have registered your information in advance, you can directly use the QR code connected to it, then scan the code and take a photo of your passport to check in. When checking out, you have to go to the front desk again to do it, otherwise it will be regarded as you have not checked out. Except for the cumbersome check-in, other places are pretty good. The apartment is located in a residential area for locals and is very quiet. There is a Family Mart about 200 meters away. You can also wash clothes in the room and dry them with the drying function in the bathroom. The room area is also larger than hotels of the same price. Overall, the price/performance ratio is still very good.

There was a lack of explanation at check-in and no code given when entering the room. The family in the other room was also upset. Cleaning is also not thorough.

Close to JR station, convenient for traveling and shopping. It is relatively spacious for a trip of three, with microwave, washing machine, refrigerator and kitchen facilities, so you can have a quiet rest. It is a good choice!

I stayed for three days and divided it into two reservations. However, I had to check out of the first one and then check in again. The system was a bit rigid. Fortunately, I had a Japanese-speaking partner to communicate with me, otherwise it would be very passive. There is a very famous "Shou'an" near the B&B, and the taste is not bad.
