Green Guesthouse

The cleanliness was poor; the entire building had an indescribable odor. There was a curry restaurant on the first floor, and I was bothered by the smell of that combined with a lingering, sweaty odor. The location is right in front of Sakurajima. There are no amenities like bath towels, as you'd expect for such a cheap place. However, despite the bad smell, all the windows were closed, and when I opened a window in my room to ventilate, the owner immediately closed it again, which was extremely frustrating. A hostel with such a hostile owner...it's been a long time since I've felt this way. I was told to close it because it was raining, and even after explaining I was just ventilating, another window was closed. After ventilating for a while and closing the remaining windows, someone else told me to leave them open! I will never stay here again!!

Great value for money, recommended for backpackers with strong legs and light hands. As long as you can close your eyes, everything's okay! For those who sleep well anywhere, even on the floor, it's like sleeping on a bed. It even offers the rocking bassinet experience, something you won't experience until you're an adult! A toothbrush set is a must, but there are also places with body wash, shampoo, and hair dryers available.

The system of paying a deposit through Trip.com and receiving the accommodation fee locally was inconvenient. The accommodation is well-maintained and clean.

There's a great terrace where you can lie on a tatami mat and look at Sakurajima. A large fresh food supermarket is nearby; you can buy some beef and grill it in the kitchen – it's incredibly affordable!
