Maui Seaside Hotel Reviews

We decided to do a birthday weekend staycation. We loved the pool! We once had one of the renovated room and it was great! This trip we had one of the older rooms, and it was fine.

We arrived late in the evening after a flight from the mainland. The lady that checked us in was amazing. She was so welcoming and helpful. Her service made our stay wonderful.  The pool area and beach were like a five star resort. Rooms were in need of renovation but location was great.

The location of the hotel is convenient as it is only a 10 minutes short drive from the Kahului airport. There are very basic amenities provided and there is a private beach in front of the hotel which adds a nice touch to the experience. However the rooms are rather dated on the old wing and emits an unattractive odor when entering for the first time. It is suitable for a short stay but nothing more.

The hotel is very close to the airport, that's the reason we booked it. But honestly, it is not worth the money. The rooms are horrible. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Location is great, view was great, very friendly front desk staffs! House keeping isnt daily but hotel is relatively clean.

Amazing Spot

Close to airport, easy to park, close to the beach, staff is nice, but the air conditioner is kinda loud

The room was arranged in a relatively remote location. I asked if I could arrange a room closer to the elevator since I was traveling a lot. They said I had to pay to upgrade the room, so forget it. The room was clean, but it was obviously different from the elevator side in all aspects, including the corridor. The younger girl at the front desk had a bad attitude, but everything else was fine. I politely asked her to help me make a phone call to ask about the group tour the next day (the phone card left by the travel agency in the hotel). She told me to contact it myself, which was fine. I stayed one more night and had to pay several dozen dollars a day. I knew that the money I should pay was deducted when I took the card, but more than 100 dollars was deducted from me at night. I don’t know what the fee was. Fortunately, my card has a text message reminder function, otherwise I would not know when I checked out the next day. I asked the hotel but it didn’t admit it. It asked me to ask the bank. Later, Ctrip helped me to deal with it and said that it was a mistake and the money would be returned in 7-14 days. This really affected my experience. The hotel does not include breakfast, and the restaurant next door is self-service. Finally, I booked a hotel car to take me to the airport and gave a tip according to local customs.

The exterior is unremarkable and is located in the middle of Maui. Driving to Hana saves more than an hour compared to staying at a western resort hotel. The room is average, and the resort fee and parking fee are more than $30.

The house looks very nice in the photos. The details shown, such as the pool and the rooms surrounding it, aren't bad either. Our accommodation was in an annex building overlooking a parking lot without a balcony. Both stairwells smelled. It's very convenient for a one-night stay before departure or after arrival, as it's close to the airport and by the sea. But definitely not for vacation. Except perhaps for a room around the pool. I can't comment on that. But I can't recommend the annex building at all. Once and never again.

The hotel is very good, with its own beach. The sunset is so beautiful. The cruise terminal is not far away. You can take pictures with the cruise ship as the background when it is docked. It is very beautiful. There is a swimming pool and lawn in the courtyard. There is a good restaurant next to the hotel. It has Hawaiian and Filipino flavors and the price is not expensive. There is a large supermarket about one kilometer away from the hotel. In general, it is a very good resort hotel!

The hotel is very close to the airport, with small supermarkets and Japanese food stores nearby, making it convenient for travel. The rooms are small and the facilities are simple, but very clean. The hotel has its own small garden swimming pool, close to the beach, and has a nice view
