Golf Hotel Kakamega

No air conditioning OR fan! Went to bed to the sound of very LOUD, live disco music from the pool area. I complained repeatedly but ended up having to use ear plugs, hold the pillow over my ear, and eventually take a sleeping pill. In the morning, unbelievably, I woke to loud construction noise as they were erecting scaffolding for renovations right across the hall from my bedroom door. Then they let it be known that they had fumigation of the entire hotel (including the beds) at 10AM. I made sure to get out of there before that.

Super great service and room service

The location is superb next to a golf course with ambient attractive and peaceful atmosphere with spacious grounds. Rooms are very comfortable spacious well maintained white clean sheets always and balconies. Value wise I can say good value for business and leisure travellers wide range of facilities it offers. Cleanliness the are always clean and rest of the compound. Noise level generally I can say it's a quiet and peaceful place during evening it can be better very alive. On service the staff are friendly, helpful and very professional in carrying out their duties. In amenities they are very good we have swimming pool, restaurant, nice conference facilities, 24/7 WiFi ready, free parking, gazebo s and a very spacious field suitable for outside catering activities such as weddings and team building.

The Golf was so gracious and our stay felt warm and inviting. The pillows and bed felt like home and the hot shower after a long day was most appreciated. The staff made our vision trip so special and our breakfast started our day so perfectly as we left for the day not to return until nightfall. The Golf should be a first choice for all your needs when in Kakemega, Kenya. Thank you for keeping us safe, healthy and loved!!!

Everything was so wonderful, pleasant staff and comfortable accommodations! We especially loved Shadarack, the server, and Chef John was so kind and such and excellent cook!!! We hope to return one day!

I had a very positive experience at Kakamega Golf Hotel, especially using their meeting and conference facilities for work. Since power cuts are quite frequent in Kakamega, I needed a reliable place where I could have electricity and internet connectivity during important work meetings. The hotel’s generator made a big difference and gave me the peace of mind that I could work without interruptions. I used the meeting facilities several times, and the service exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly, respectful, and professional, and they were always responsive to my needs. They provided a comfortable and suitable workspace with all the basic facilities I needed. I particularly appreciated having a quiet, separate space away from noise and distractions, which allowed me to focus fully on my meetings. The package was also very convenient and affordable, including refreshments, meals, and printing services. Overall, Kakamega Golf Hotel provided an excellent working environment, and I would definitely use their facilities again.

My daughter and I stayed at the Golf Hotel for 4 nights. Everyone made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, the good food and the comfortable beds. We will be returning next time we come to Kakamega.

Delicious African tastes, clean environment, toilets and high notch ambience

Another day another time well spent at The Golf Hotel had a great afternoon dinning to some great cuisines accompanied by the beautiful scenery and view of nature and tall trees not forgetting the very friendly and prompt stuff. I had a good time and would definitely keep visiting whenever I'm in town.
