I found the hosts very welcoming and liked staying here. I stayed only 2 nights and could’ve stayed longer. I liked backing access to be a kitchen and there was free laundry which was really nice. I found the room to be a nice size for just me and enjoyed the open windows in the corridor that left in a cool ocean breeze. The guesthouse is very close to the beach and there’s Café Coworo down the road that has a foot spa and good coffee! I walked about 20 min from Kamakura station to get there but you can take a bus to get you closer and it’s not very far from the enoden line that you can take to Enoshima. I also walked about 20 min from the guesthouse to see the big Buddha statue. Overall, I appreciated the hospitality and would stay here again for sure :)

I spent two nights at this guesthouse, and I was on edge the entire time. As a Chinese woman, I assure you that everything I'm about to say is true and not exaggerated in the slightest. 1. When I first checked in, I had trouble locking the door because it was an old-fashioned twist lock. I twisted it a few extra times to try and get it to lock. It was around 5 PM (a normal, non-resting time for most people). The old man staying next door, who I assume was either the owner's friend or father since they seemed very familiar with each other and he appeared to be a long-term guest, suddenly opened his door. He glared at me fiercely and then slammed his door shut with great force. He probably thought I was being noisy. This was the first time he slammed the door. 2. Later, I asked the guesthouse owner to help me with the lock. He pulled on it, but it still wouldn't lock. Then I met two other Chinese women who told me that after twisting it, you need to pull the key straight out horizontally. Right at that moment, the old man aggressively opened his door again, stared at us menacingly, and once more slammed his door with extreme force. This was the second time he slammed the door. Throughout these incidents, I didn't say a single word because, being in a foreign country, personal safety was my top priority. 3. Another time, while I was using the restroom, I couldn't find the light switch at first. Since there was some natural light during the day, I didn't pay much attention to it. Just then, someone outside forcefully opened the door and turned on the light. I found this incredibly intrusive and disrespectful. I felt very unsafe. Overall, I felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and disrespected at this guesthouse. I will not be returning.

The hotel is almost a self-service hotel, the staff doesn't entertain anyone at all, but the location and price is good, 5min walk to the seaside and 7-10min walk to train station, but there's no convenient store nearby, it's about 10min walk away

The location is very close to the seaside, and you can take a walk in the morning or evening. There is also a ramen shop nearby that operates until 12 am, and you can choose to have dinner or late-night snack there.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days, and I really enjoyed the comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. I was surprised that the owner spoke Korean so well, and it was great to be able to converse with them. They kindly recommended restaurants near the hotel, and you can even drink and hang out with them at night. It seems they really love Korean music! If I ever come to Kamakura again, I'd love to stay here.

The hotel is conveniently located just one stop above Kamakura Station, making it easy to find. The room was even better than the photos, quiet, and the service was excellent and patient. It was convenient to leave luggage at the hotel after check-out, allowing for easy travel. Getting up early allowed me to catch the sunrise and see Mount Fuji with excellent visibility. Kamakura High School was practically empty before 9 am, but there were long queues on the way back. Staying here for one night is incredibly good value! However, I recommend exploring the city for a while before staying here, as most shops close around 6 pm.

The owner of the accommodation speaks Korean very well, and although it is a bit far from Kamakura Station, I liked the good value for money, cleanliness, and the fact that the sea is nearby.

It had a homey atmosphere, and the beach was just a three-minute walk away. At night, I didn't have to worry about the crowded subway; I could walk back to my accommodation! Plus, the bed was so soft—the best sleep I've had on my trip so far! Thank you!

The room was really nice! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, but I was unlucky enough to be assigned to room 301, the innermost room on the 3rd floor, next to the shared toilet. The other guests on the same floor were really something else; they slammed the bathroom door open and closed it at night, completely disregarding the fact that there were people in the rooms right next to them. The single room was definitely the best value for money.
