I recently stayed at Novotel Taiping on May 27, 2024, and had an extremely distressing experience. Late at night around 11 PM, someone used an access card to open my room door. This unauthorized entry was shocking and raised serious concerns about the hotel’s security.
I immediately called the front desk twice to report this incident but received no feedback or support. At the same time, I tested my room access key and found that it was no longer working. I had to personally go down to the lobby to address the issue. The staff simply reset the key code, offered a brief apology, and mentioned they would investigate and get back to me. However, I never received any further explanation or follow-up regarding the incident.
As a guest, I expect a high standard of security and prompt customer service, both of which were severely lacking during my stay. This experience has left me deeply disappointed with Novotel Taiping.
I hope the management takes this matter seriously and addresses these significant issues to ensure the safety and satisfaction of future guests.
