I chose this hotel because it is very close to Kanazawa Marathon starting point. The price during the event was not cheap. It is located in Karimbo area, 1.5km from Kanazawa station. It is also close to Kanazawa Castle, 2km from old town. Very convenient. Check in process was funny as the hotel uses unmanned system. It can be easy or it can be frustrating. My room has no desk but a small sitting table. Check out process was just simply dropping key cards to the kiosk and done.

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are clean. My only issue was with the toilet, which is in a separate, small cubicle with no windows. Over time, an unbearable smell has accumulated in there, making it quite unpleasant. This was a bit of a letdown. On the plus side, the hotel is very close to Kenrokuen Garden, which is definitely worth a visit.

How on earth can this hotel be rated 4-star? And it wasn't cheap either! Service was completely absent. The lobby was cramped and didn't even provide hot water or coffee, making it significantly worse than a standard 3-star Toyoko Inn. Both the breakfast and the rooms were utterly mediocre. It was a world of difference compared to another 4-star hotel I stayed at the very next day. Ctrip really shouldn't be misleading customers like this!

That’s an awesome hotel,no staff but convenient and fancy,the room was clean and very affordable,not close to train station though ,still near a downtown area.

The room is really good. Separate toilet and bathroom. The basin Is located outside of the bathroom. It's really convenient to wash my hands instead of going to the toilet . I walked from Kanazawa Station, and took about 30 minutes with my 2 pieces of luggage to reach Henna Kanazawa Hotel Karimbo. The two dinosaurs waited for me, but the helper was there to help . Thanks a lot. Closed to Lawson and Kanazawa castle. There is also a microwave waiting Infront of door lift.

Even though it was self check-in, when I ran into an issue, a staff member quickly appeared to help resolve it. The room was spacious, and it was convenient for storing luggage. The location is excellent, with both Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle within easy walking distance. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Far from station,no car parking available you need to park by coin parking but it’s far from the hotel..Robot reception processing for check in and check out.
