The Campster Kanchanaburi
4.5/583 Reviews
Kanchanaburi is outskit of Bangkok, around 3 hr drive. The Campster @ Kanchanaburi , the calmness and relaxing atmosphere offers a relax and really nice environment to chill and relax. We stayed 2 nights at different room type.- one night is campervan, one night is 2 rooms tents. Bed are comfortable. it was an pleasant stay for our family (2 adult and 2 young kids- below 8 years old) . the. Love the river scenary, dinner under the stars , breakfast is very nice too. We can choose to eat outside our tent or in the resturant . can order dinner from the resturant from menu of bbq / mookata / thai or westen food. Facilities inside the campervan and tent need some maintenance. the cupboard in the campervan cannot be closed tight and the toilet door in the 2 rooms tent in spoil , cannot close it. My kids not like the campervan, as the flying light flies and ants coming inside the van. The 2 rooms tent is big space and nice . There was camp fire every night where kids will bbq marshmallows / chocolate/ biscuit provided and not forgetting the sparkle sticks. My kids love the staffs .. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and nice. Thank you for the complimentary birthday deco and cake for my boy birthday. They do not provide toothbrush and toothpaste - bring yourself or can purchase from the counter. Recommend for those who want experience camping feel and relax atmosphere.

I stayed here for 3 nights. I loved my stay here. Joy and Fa are amazing and friendly owners. So clean and comfortable. Joy helped me kindly with the paperwork for my visa extension at the local immigration. It's much easier to do visa extension here than in Bangkok. This guesthouse is so close to the bus terminal. Lots of places to eat nearby. The River Kwai Bridge is not too far. The Skywalk is amazing. I loved the Erawan National Park and waterfall which you can take a local bus. You can rent a bike and do your laundry at the guesthouse for a great price. I'd like to thank Joy for all her help and kindness. Thank you.

Clean spacious room with balcony, great bed, good Wi-Fi, nice staff. Hotel is located near a gas station with a convenient store. 10-minute walk to a night food market. There is a limited parking lot available for guests with cars. Breakfast is really limited offering only fry eggs, cereal, bread and jam, salad, and instant coffee. Nevertheless, if I happen to be in Kanchanaburi again I will consider this hotel again.

Stay on the ground floor, room 114, the hotel is located opposite the province, not difficult to find, enter the alley about two hundred meters, but around There is rarely selling food or convenience stores and the accommodation does not sell food, should eat first or prepare food. Parking is good and enough, stay at 1180 baht, including morning snacks as well, you can also have coffee all day. For safety, it's good because Use the key card again. Before staying in the room zone For the room itself, the room is spacious, good, the bathroom is good, the bed is comfortable. But the room does not keep sound at all Because everything echoes In the morning, people open the door of the next room. Then shaken arrive For breakfast, there is a sandwich, boiled egg, coffee, Ovaltine, Patongko for you. It would be busy to see The receptionist is good. The surrounding places are clean. The place inside is clean, beautifully decorated, when Chinese people come at night, they are deaf. One time because the noise is very loud. If you can go up the atmosphere, recommend the second floor Will not be very noisy

As the title of my review says, the staff are great. Knowledgeable of the local area, easy to deal with and very welcoming. I found them incredibly helpful. The owner has fluent English which makes thing easier as well. There are also 4 lovely dogs that greet you every time you arrive home. They always take up 10 minutes of my time when I get back. I was a little put out that the room has no warm water and there are no plug points in the room so charging your items is resigned to leaving them in the common area, although the owner had a solution for this and had an extension cord which ran all the way to my room through the window. The price is good and compared to other options and is the closest riverside accommodation to the bus station. I want to thank the owner for all of his help during my stay.
