Nice location and ambient for family stay. Just room type is too few and facility cannot compete big hotel. Overall service was quite good.

The rooms were clean. Although not brand new, they were perfectly fine. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. The facilities were great, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was excellent in both architecture and service. I truly enjoyed the warm hospitality and attentive service provided by the staff. The location is ideal, offering the most beautiful view along the Kwae Yai River. This hotel is suitable for guests of all ages. The most wonderful part of my stay was the natural fragrance of the Luk Chan tree. My room was located just behind the tree, so I could enjoy its lovely scent right from my room.

The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was superb. We had beautiful views of the mountains from our riverside location. We ran into a problem where our car wouldn't start. The staff spent half an hour helping our family, even though it was a Sunday. They tried to jump-start our car using the hotel's vehicle, but it didn't work. They then went above and beyond, trying to find a battery shop for us. Their level of care was truly remarkable, especially considering we had already checked out.

My parents and I really enjoyed our stay here — the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better, with a stunning view of the River Kwai Bridge. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety, which made our mornings even better. The only downside was that the courtyard room didn’t get much natural light, so it wasn’t the best spot to relax on a gloomy day, and the hot water took quite a while to heat up. But overall, it was a lovely experience and we had a great time!

Pros: * Excellent location, within walking distance of Saphan Lek. * Good variety for breakfast. Mixed/Neutral Points: * The front desk staff were helpful, but during breakfast, staff members were often absent from their stations, requiring waits, for example, at the egg station. * The bed and pillows were comfortable. Cons: * The shower temperature was incredibly difficult to regulate, constantly fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold. Additionally, there were black mold stains in the bathroom. * The room was very small and lacked soundproofing. Boutique style hotel with attractive location on the River Kwai, a few hundred metres from the bridge. The hotel is immaculately maintained and although the rooms are small, the bed is comfortable. The outstanding highlight is undoubtedly the riverside terrace on which one can enjoy a well prepared and diverse breakfast (Asian / Western options), dinner and evening cocktails. Staff are friendly and efficient and contribute to the pleasant ambience. Great spot for a relaxing weekend and as a base for exploring Kanchanaburi’s attractions.

We have stayed at several U Hotel branches, and this one truly stands out for its exceptional service. The staff warmly welcomed us and were very friendly, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. They were proactive in accommodating additional requests, and even the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to assist us, there was a small gap under the door where mosquitoes could enter the room, but the maid quickly addressed it by placing a cloth to seal it. We were genuinely impressed by their attentiveness and dedication to ensuring a pleasant experience. The only area for improvement would be the warm water system, as it didn’t function consistently. Apart from that, everything else was excellent
