We had a brilliant 1 night stay at Beam Resort. We arrived late but this was no problem for the very welcoming owners. We were offered continental or Sri Lankan breakfast and opted for Sri Lankan - delicious home cooked and loads of it! Which they later packed up for us to take for lunch! Comfy bed, WiFi & power even during the current government enforced cuts, due to them being located close by a hospital. And a beautiful garden balcony terrace to sit out on from our room! Would certainly stay again if we had more time in kandy!

Cette guesthouse située dans les hauteurs de Kandy est vraiment très agréable. J'y ai passé trois nuits et j'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour. L'établissement peut être un peu difficile à trouver, mais a l'avantage d'être situé dans un quartier très calme, tout en restant assez proche du centre-ville (une vingtaine de minutes à pied pour rejoindre la gare par exemple). Le couple de propriétaires s'est montré très aimable et serviable. Ma chambre était spacieuse, propre et bien équipée ; la literie était confortable et la salle de bain était fonctionnelle. Le petit déjeuner était bon et très copieux (et différents tous les matins), quasiment tout étant fait maison. J'ai séjourné dans cette guesthouse pendant la mousson et n'ai donc pas pu profiter des extérieurs, mais ma chambre disposait d'une grande terrasse. Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment excellent et je ne peux que recommander cet établissement pour un séjour paisible à Kandy.
