On arrival I was given a room with no window or balcony as booked. As I went to reception I was told there had no rooms with a balcony available until the following day. I was again told the next day they had no rooms available with a balcony so I told them I’ve packed my bags and I would be out for the day for them to sort it out. On 2nd room given as soon as I walked in the room had a strong mouldy and musky smell. The bathroom was tiny and the curtains didn’t even fit the window properly. The balcony was ok with two chairs however there was building work going on nearby. The AC didn’t work properly so the room was so stuffy. There was mould under the window which is the reason the room smelt bad. On the positive note the food and staff in the restaurant was good. I personally wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent stay… near Kandy lake. People very prompt in response. The rooms are very clean and tidy. Certainly I recommend to stay in this hotel

The room is large and clean with the strong air con. The staff are helpful and friendly. For the location, there are many restaurant nearby and there are many options that we can choose or ordering the food through Pickme.

Nice hotel close by the lake, only 10 minutes walk to the temple. The room was a bit old but nicely decorated and all the staff was nice and extremely helpful. Thank you for such a nice Sri Lanka welcome!

Yes yes yes. Loved the stay at this hotel wish we had longer here. Staff were amazing and super helpful and friendly. Room was amazing and super comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The room was huge and had an additional jacuzzi tub. The bed was comfortable and the place has real character and they also allowed me an early check in

It's fate that I went to Sri Lanka for the second time. I went there in October last year. It rained heavily almost every day. It happened to rain heavily when I was in Kandy. I took shelter from the rain in front of this hotel. The clerk warmly invited me to rest inside and ordered ice cream. I actually booked this hotel for the first time. The location is great and it’s right by the lake.

I booked a room more than a month ago and confirmed it, but when I arrived at the hotel, they said there was no room. Would you be angry? The original hotel was in a great location, right by Kandy Lake, but the hotel I was assigned to was on a mountain, which was really inconvenient. I gave it three points, which is kind. If you encounter this kind of situation in China, you can give it one point!

The waiters are very considerate and the environment is very good. It’s by the lake.
