Had a very good experience staying at Justa Palampur for a night. The property is lovely, the stay was comfortable, and the breakfast was also very good. However, what truly stood out for me was the exceptional help and hospitality shown by one of the staff members, Uday. I accidentally locked myself out of my car with the keys still inside, late at night. Honestly, I wasn't expecting the hotel to do much beyond helping me figure out how to arrange a mechanic, especially since it was already quite late. But Uday went far beyond his responsibilities. When a mechanic couldn't be arranged that night, Uday personally tried to help me get the car door opened late at night. The next morning, he went out of his way to get a mechanic from the market on his own bike, stayed continuously involved for hours while the issue was being resolved, and then even dropped the mechanic back afterwards. What impressed me most was that he did all of this without expecting anything in return. It was genuine help and concern at a time when I was in a difficult situation. Had it not been for Uday, I would have had a really tough time arranging a mechanic and getting access to my car. Even the mechanic he arranged was fair and reasonable and did not take advantage of the situation by overcharging me, which was especially appreciated given that I didn't really have many options at that point. People often remember a hotel not just for its rooms or food, but for how they are treated when something unexpected goes wrong. Uday is a perfect example of that kind of hospitality. His willingness to go above and beyond genuinely made a difference to my experience. A special thanks to Uday and the team at Justa Palampur for making the stay memorable for all the right reasons.
