Worlds of Fun Village

great place to stay close to park ,staff was great we had some issues with ants but spoke with supervisor I think her name was michelle she was very approachable and apologized many times for the issues and personally came to cottage and wiped down everything to try and help get rid of ants but was not allowed to used bug spray as park used outside service for pest control but she did have cleaner and killed and cleaned what was seen, she also gave of comp tickets for free food, drinks, and even free games for kids. Had a great time at park can't wait to come back next year

A very nice RV Park, we specifically liked the back in on the hill above the cabins. Had a view of the roller coaster and dragon fly during the day and fireflies at n8ght. The park is clean and nice. The only negative is the TRASH TRUCK AT 4 OR 5 IN THE MORNING VERY LOUD. It was an easy drive to K.C. and the stadiums.

Would be a bigger fan, but the "policy" rigidity kills it for me. Plus an unwillingness to make other considerations. We ended up needing to extend out stay to a total of 17 days. Turns out there's a 14 day max. Keep in mind the adjacent amusement park is closed for winter and the RV park/Village is only 25% open. In order to work around their stated limit, we had to physically vacate our 45' coach for a night, stay somewhere else for a night then return under an entirely separate reservation. Not a big deal when its sunny and 70. A big deal when temps are sub-freezing! Due to location limitations, we needed to stay in the area, otherwise I would've gone elsewhere. So Walmart parking lot here we come. Of course, upon returning, it's raining and 38 degrees. Lovely!! I asked for a little "inconvenience consideration" given the 14 day limitation was not referenced on my reservation confirmation, but was told to basically "pound sand"...we were just following our policy. Nice! And, not so much as a "Thank You for staying with us."

I have never been here before and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this rv park is. The signs coming into the park for rv’s was confusing, but after that things are top-notch. There is a little lawn right beside our site and the sites are all concrete. The laundry room looks nice (about to use it!) and the showers are clean (maybe put some hooks on the wall to hang stuff!). The pool and hot tub are popular. We haven’t frequented the park yet (it’s open only on weekends right now), but I hear it is well worth the money.

The location north of Kansas City is very convenient to many locations like Independence, downtown. Both are 15 - 20 minutes from the RV Park. The Park is easy to navigate with long sites whether pull-thru or back-in. The services are well-placed. There is a trash can at each site so the park is very clean. The staff is helpful with suggestions. This will be our preferred stop when we return to the area.

Have to remember that this is a cabin, nothing, too fancy, is a great place to stay if you’re going to Worlds of Fun. Staff was helpful and friendly. I feel it is a little pricey for what you get.

The cottages at the Worlds of Fun Village were in good condition, clean, and had ample room for two families.

Fun and relaxing We had a wonderful time staying at the cottages with family and friends for a one night get away. We would stay again even if not attending the park. The outdoor grill and patio were a plus and our younger girls loved being able to roast marshmallows and our older kids really enjoyed the the Haunt. It was fantastic to see so many smiles!

We stayed in an RV spot. Very nice place, clean, pretty and shady. Staff was very friendly, reserving a spot was easy and prices good for full hook up. They also have laundry and shower facilities. Great place right next to amusement park.
