Red Lion Inn & Suites Kansas City

On arrival, this Indian lady who was seated with another Indian man was terrible, she spoke to us like she owns the whole world. We asked her to show us just the entrance that goes to our rooms but it looks like she was pinned on her chair, only to walk around we met other people outside who were lost looking for their rooms.We were all wandering like headless chicken in felt like we were gonna stay there for free. Finally after getting the rooms, pests were wandering around the rooms , my bed sheets were dirty, the floors looked like they poured sand there for months and abandoned them, I called the front desk to complain and that Indian answered the call and mentioned that rooms are clean , I can’t explain everything but overall , it is a terrible place . I know the price ain’t that high but it is for a basic hotel which at-least clean their rooms. I can never recommend anyone to stay there . Not even a simple shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom! Terrible

Was a decent hotel room inside , could be cleaner though. The outside of the hotel seemed very sketchy. I would recommend double checking the outside area of this hotel before booking. Breakfast was good and the staff was nice. The first guy I encountered seemed to be annoyed, the room I booked on here reflected a different room on his end and he wasn’t very helpful in getting the issue fixed. I was a little nervous to have my car outside of this place but ultimately did not have any issues.

Parking was secure. They had a night security which made us feel safe. Rooms were clean but halls had weird smell. Check in staff was nice but really strong odor in lobby. Checkout staff was horrible. The lady seemed out of it and went on break while the line for checkout was growing. Came back with pants berly on and looked unprofessional and untidy. It was a good price but would not return.

Everything about my stay was perfect but there's two negative things. 1. The smell outside due to the plant nearby but who's having a picnic outside? 2. The train pasting by but the North side of KC is a industry place. Again I think you only hear it if you're outside at night. I didn't notice it when I was inside. The bed was soft and; big, service was great Danielle was friendly, my California Indian guy (didn't catch your name sorry) helpful and; I hope you the best in KC bro, the black girl of 3rd shift was fun love your personality and the Mexican girl I met on my first night was very chill. There's real promise here. There's a tight security unit (it's not a bad area in my opinion because I could walk to the McDonald's down the street no problem), this is perfect little area for a short or long-term visit. If anything I tell you don't go to the waffle house down the street service sucks and you got a way outside. Plus if you ask me the food is mid. I recommend going to Hawaiian Bros or Tays or get it delivered. I didn't personally see a do not disturb for the doors.. the maid stuff we're making known that it's time for them to come by. Right at the moment they are going through a remodel but in the I was in it was quiet. The area is very secure. Definitely don't have to worry about anybody just lingering around or anything weird. There is a pool for the "summer".
