Hotel Zagreb

Nice hotel. Big and clean room. Clean bathroom. Perfect swimming pool. Near beach. Excellent place for children and relaxing vocation Diferent food every day , nice test , fresh.... I recomend to everyone.

The room and bathrooms were not clean. The shower/bath drain was blocked so the bath filled with water within 30 seconds. The beds were uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on a rock. We all had sore backs and necks after staying here for 2 nights. The slats on the roll out bed broke when one of us sat on it. The buffet dinner was awful! The salad tasted like it was served from the day before, weird chicken, potatoes, pasta, same food, different day. We didn't go back for any more meals. We went down the street along the beach and paid to eat normal food. The 'all inclusive' included warm beer from a plastic bottle and terrible soft drink. Hotel Zagreb...time for a renovation. Only plus was the beach was very close.

Our room seems to have been renovated recently, but the shower was left with fungus all over the place, especially in the corners. I don't believe the staff didn't notice that - things like this wouldn't grow overnight. Even the handshower's nozzles had disgusting black stains from fungus... The meals were terrible. Bolognese sauce was literally watered down, bread tasted like a sponge, and the omelette and vegetables were outright gross and fatty.

We spend a one week holiday in this hotel with all inclusive program. I will start with the PROS: + the hotel is very nice and new (renovated?), our room was clean, bed was comfortable + there are two very nice pools and wellness with sauna - we enjoyed it! + staff of the hotel is kind and helpful + the hotel is close to a beautiful beach, sea is clean + the breakfasts were quite good + salad bar was quite good CONS: - the food quality is overall average/bad. We were not happy with lunches and dinners most of the time - the selection is small and the dishes are not tasty. You can see that they are they are trying to save money. - really bad coffee, really bad wine - NO TAP BEER! - the drinks in "all inclusive" are VERY LIMITED and you can only have them from 11 - 21.30. - no soft drinks, no nice wines, just cheap croatian spirits and cheap beer from a plastic bottle - they basically force you to pay for better quality drinks, which they are selling on the same bar Long story short: it is still great value for the money, I recommend this place for bed and breakfast (and wellness :)), but the all inclusive program is simply not worth it.
