Hotel am Karlstor

Check in and check out was very disorganized and had very long waits. They were understaffed both times. The shower sprayed all over the ground in the bathroom because the glass median of the shower didn't come out far enough.

It was easy access and easy to find the parking space. The room was clean and good enough for 3 of us.Though the 3rd bed could have been better.Walkable distance from all the areas.Would def stay here agai. If i visit Karlsruhe.

Please don’t stay there.

Avoid - waste of money Our flight was delayed so we arrived 2 hour later. Midnight instead of 10pm. No one there to check us in, hotel locked and not answering the phone. Left us stranded in middle of night and had to pay extra for a hotel 30 mins away

Short stay Good reasonably central location for Karlsruhe. Convenient underground parking. Trams run directly past hotel entrance and can be a bit noisy at night/ early morning as they pass, but this is to be expected in the location. Rooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable.

The whole room seemed outdated and could use a renovation. The window frames seemed a bit moldy, the curtain wasn't properly attached to the rail. The surroundings were very noisy, which made it hard to sleep. The person cleaning the room left their brush in my bathroom. I would have expected much better for the price.
