Buyuk Kale Hotel

Very good hotel The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was big and comfortable. At times there was a sewer smell but it wasn't extremely strong or constant. The breakfast buffet was good but get there early (before 9 am. If you get there at 9 am or later, everything is empty or only a few things left. When the çay runs out, no more is made. The hotel is located close to everything.

Winter stay Büyük Kale Hotel On arrival we were offered a standard room on second floor, although we had paid for a delux room. On querying this at reception (Night Shift) we were given a delux room on the seventh floor. Much better sitting area and the room was nice and hot (-17") outside. Bed okay but could do with extra pillows. Cleaning and service by floor maid excellent.

Poor service they don’t speak English or other languages …. And they falsely advertise stating that the hotel has parking wish is not true street parking yes . Fortunately was ok for my motorcycle.

Perfectly located gem of a hotel Couldn’t ask for better Great varied breakfast just wish could be kept hot/warm Staff so friendly and helpful Rooms very good, super clean with comfortable beds and superb bedding Stayed here twice and would do every time I visited Kars
