The hotel lobby is spacious and beautiful, and they offer welcome drinks. You have to pick up amenities from the lobby, and the staff's service is very polite. When they knew we were driving, they automatically came out to help with our luggage. However, getting to the room was a bit inconvenient; we had to go up a few steps before reaching the elevator. It was a bit heavy to carry suitcases up, even though it was only a few steps. The room was large, and the cleanliness was acceptable. Plus, it had a smart TV with YouTube, Netflix, etc. Overall, for Japan, this hotel is quite large and good.

The hotel is a bit old, but the environment is great and the location is excellent. There's a big supermarket and a McDonald's nearby. It's only a 5-minute drive to the outlet, and many attractions are also very close.

The rooms are incredibly spacious. The breakfast is abundant and aligns perfectly with Japanese nutritional standards. I highly recommend Usagi no Mori, a bunny-themed restaurant just a 5-minute walk away, next to a large supermarket. The hotel's location is also very convenient for visiting any attractions in Karuizawa.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the JR station. Since I arrived at 7 PM, there were no buses, so I had to walk to the hotel. It's very close to Kumoba Pond, and the breakfast was excellent. It's also convenient for getting to and from the outlet mall.

The staff were polite, and the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The two beds pushed together made for a huge sleeping area, perfect for our 3 and 5-year-olds to share. Plus, parking is free!

The room was surprisingly spacious, and it even came with a kitchen! There's a huge supermarket right next door where you can grab some nice wagyu beef. The check-out staff can help you call a taxi, and they speak English too. You'll need to ask the staff for a frying pan for the kitchen, but they brought it over very quickly. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

This was my second stay here. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station, or a 1000 JPY taxi ride. Kumoba Pond is also within walking distance. The hotel is nestled in a resort area surrounded by pine trees, and the room size, especially compared to Tokyo, is incredibly spacious. The Japanese breakfast was exquisite and delicious. This time, I accidentally left a sweater behind. When I contacted the hotel to pick it up on my way back from Kusatsu, I saw staff members in the rain wiping guests' suitcases with towels – very impressive! 👍

The food was delicious, and everything was explained thoroughly. The room was also very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Thank you very much! It was wonderful, I'd love to stay again.

Pros - 1. Hotel apartment is 15 mins by walk from karuizawa station, still walkable. Hotel does not provide any shuttle bus 2. Room is spacious and it is equipped with microwave, stove & fridge. It does not come with any kitchen ware though and need to request the items you need clearly. It is hard to communicate as the staffs do not speak English well 3. It is 3 mins by walk away from a big supermarket and McDonald, very convenient if you like to cook and buy something to eat on your own Cons 1. Facilities are old, WiFi was down few times during our stay 2. Staffs are not professional and do not speak English well. It is so difficult to communicate with the receptionist as most of male staffs do not speak English (female is better). They provide false information and don’t understand their hotel facilities well 3. During our stay, roof top is under repair so the whole room is surrounded by shed frame, we are unable to open the balcony door at all as the view is all blocked 4. Carpet & sofa are quite dirty In short, I recommend this hotel if you are staying with a big group and want to cook your own dinner. But I will not stay here again due to the poor staff experiences.

Japanese room is spacious and comes with a small kitchen. We didn't cook. No bottled water provided.

[Bad] ・The facilities are generally quite old. ・When filling the bathtub in the room, the humidity lingered for a long time, and the significant yellowing in the bathroom was very noticeable. ・There are far too few elevators for the number of guest rooms.

The room is spacious, and it is in quite area, walking distance 15minutes from the Karuizawa station. Hot spring… looks quite dirty especially outside bath. Ceiling was full of dirt, and there were so many countless bugs fallen off on the outdoor bath from the ceiling… yikes!

Hotel is located about a 20 min walk from JR Karuizawa. If you have luggage, probably easier to take a taxi from the Jr station. The front office staff are friendly and helpful and make me feel very welcome at the hotel. Room is spacious and clean with a kitchenette equipped with a microwave oven . Very useful ! Hotel is close proximity to a supermarket and bakery. Definitely will stay at this hotel when I return to Karuizawa.

Room are only come with twin bed instead of king or queen bed and hotel under renovation ezternal part so no view all Stay location is bit far from station which about 10mins walk better to call a teksi about 800-1000yen for a trip. Overall suitable for family stay instead of solo trip..
