The hotel's location is great. It's about a 10-minute walk from Karuizawa Station. There's a Family Mart convenience store directly opposite, but it closes at 11 PM, so it's not 24/7. To get to the outlets from the hotel, you just need to go back to the station and exit from the other side. The hotel is super convenient, just a 5-6 minute walk from JR Karuizawa Station, even with luggage. The room was amazing, with four beds – a rare find in Japan for such a large space! It was perfect for a group of friends to have a party at night. There's a big FamilyMart convenience store right across the street, making it easy to grab snacks. Plus, it's an easy walk to Japan's largest outlet mall. I highly recommend it for groups traveling together for a vacation; you can definitely stay for a few nights.

Traveling with my besties, we were pleasantly surprised to find our triple room was actually a suite with a small sofa – perfect for the three of us to hang out. The bathroom and toilet were separate, which was super convenient and meant no waiting around. There's a door off the lobby that leads to a really nice lounge area which doubles as a library. The hotel is only about a 5-6 minute walk from the station and really easy to find. Plus, there's a fantastic sukiyaki restaurant downstairs with amazing wagyu beef, just make sure to book ahead!

I went to Karuizawa for four days and three nights! When I booked the hotel, one of the nights was a weekend, which meant I couldn't book all three nights together! I had to book them separately because the price increased significantly on the weekend. So, the room I got was smaller and more expensive than usual, and it didn't even include breakfast! My advice is definitely to avoid staying here on weekends. The good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the train station, and there's also a huge outlet mall nearby!

Not far from JR, the downside is that it lacks a garden and ambiance. However, I felt Karuizawa itself wasn't particularly interesting unless you're staying at a resort hotel. The hotel offered free coffee and apple juice in the afternoon.

Room is big. We loved the hotel lounge as it is cosy and easy access to 2nd level to our room. Location is very convenient to outlet and opposite the hotel is Family Mart.

Stayed for two nights. On the second day, I hung the towels, trash bags, and mineral water bottles on the doorknob requesting not to be disturbed. The hotel facilities are very new, and there's even a microwave available. It was convenient to borrow an umbrella when it rained.

Amazing room and hotel, spacious and comfortable. A great relaxing stay, there is also an in-house library (japanese books) and a comfortable lounge area with drinks. Breakfast is a set menu sent to your room, toasted sandwiches were great

Stay the 2nd time and got to the top floor with a special room, a bit too big for 2 ppl :) the living room area have a bit of smell. I prefer the normal room with sofa.

What a find. The hotel is great and close to JR Station. The very beautiful fire place and small library makes the hotel standout from others. The Japan iconic convenience store Lawson is directly opposite the hotel. I have a wonderful and pleasant stay at this hotel. Strongly recommended.

Very close to the station, about a six or seven-minute walk. There are convenience stores right opposite and next to the hotel, which is super convenient. The only downside is there aren't many restaurants nearby. The hotel does have bicycles for rent, which is really handy.

The hotel seems new and check in service was great. The room has 2 double beds (comfortable for an adult each) and enough futons (on the floor) to take another 4 adults. It may be crowded for 6 but it was really spacious for 4 of us and we could open our 4 large suitcases. The location is near to the train station and all the car rental companies. The Prince outlet mall is 10-15min walk. Highly recommended.
