The hotel is quite located on the peninsula which have a nice view but that’s all . The service doesn’t exist there … you have to clear your plates during breakfast by yourself , no one do it .  The tea and coffee are never ready before 9.30am in the restaurant and you have to beg the staff who is looking at you with impatience for having an omelette.  The beach bar is abandoned and the pool bar staff is laying down on two chair back to the clients playing with his phone . In short the service is horrible , in fact there is no  service.  In the morning , they open the music and the light for breakfast after all already left .. it’s no sense .  It’s not safe as well , they keep your door open for more than 30min and there is no houskeeping staff inside  No one is wearing uniform , even not a similar t shirt or polo so you never know who’s working or who’s just guest . Very disappointing!!! Not recommending at all this hotel unless the management change entirely the lead and the standard .

We came here on July 7th, the servers had well accommodated us. However, we waited so long to get any kind of food or drinks although there was no crowd. The red wine was bad, and also we asked the guy named Faruk, who took well care of us, about why we waited so much and he said cause of lack of employee. Looks like little unprofessional for such a good place like this

It was a wonderful hotel. Stunning views. Rooms with their own swimmingpools. But you can choose different rooms in different price ranges. Good breakfast. Friendly people. Unfortunately the spa was closed. Because of the end of season I think. I would like to come again.

Beach set up 10/10, very beautiful and beautiful pool too. Cleaness of the room : 8/10. Restaurants/bar : The restaurant is very limited. Menu only in Turkish. The food is just okay. There is no cocktail card. We ordered a glass of red wine but tasted like it was an old wine in the fridge that stayed there for a week… Service is given by one person, who seems working a lot.. but he is very kind. The bar near the is not really a bar. Room : The safe isn’t fixed in the room. The water in the room is on and off for hot water. Also, if you consider to rent and economy room, take notes that the rooms are under the terrace of the restaurant. You will heard people walking. The room aren’t sound proof neither. Clearly not a 5 stars hotel. The property of somes installation isn’t good. Also, you’ll need your cellphone to traduce because it’s not all the staff that speaks English. This is very damage because the hotel have a lot of potentiel. The gardens and location are very beautiful.

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 5-Star Hotel We would not return to Peninsula Gardens and certainly do not consider it a five-star hotel. The room lacked blackout curtains, which meant we were woken up every day around 6 AM by the bright light in the room. The mosquito nets were old and difficult to open or close, and definitely need replacing. The wellness area was closed at the end of May because it was not considered high season. This was never mentioned on their website, whereas other hotels usually inform guests in advance. We specifically booked this hotel for the wellness facilities. After insisting, we were allowed to use the sauna for one day out of the three for 30 minutes —but even the sauna was outdated and not well-maintained. Communication was a real issue. At breakfast, there was one young man who did not speak a word of English and had to serve all the tables by himself. We had to insist on eggs or coffee, or tea using Google Translate. Because without asking, you would not get it. It felt like they tried to charge extra for everything. There were two cabanas on the seaside terrace that provided good shade, but we were told to leave unless we paid extra—even though not a single hotel guest was using them at the time. On the second morning, the coffee machine stopped working, so we couldn’t get any coffee. But the biggest shock came at checkout: it turned out that our cappuccinos were charged because they were not included in the breakfast, only filter coffee was. No one told us this beforehand, and we’ve never experienced this in any other hotel with breakfast included. Thankfully, the receptionist sided with us in the end. Additionally, Nespresso pods in the room were €4.50 each. You only get two free upon arrival—regardless of whether you stay one night or six. Again, this is unheard of in a so-called five-star hotel. Granted, it is mentioned on the price list next to the fridge but we assumed that we would get a minimum of 2 pods a day as a refill so we did not check the price list on Nespresso pods. Again, never stayed in a hotel that charges these. The only positive note: Rose, the receptionist, who did her best to help us throughout our stay. Kas itself is beautiful and we will definitely return—but next time, we’ll book a different hotel.

This is definitely not a 4* hotel. Even the manager admitted that major works need done. The spa was closed which was big disappointment when the wind was so strong one couldn’t swim in the sea. We weren’t told about that by our tour company. Some of the staff were great but as in most walks of life others don’t see dirt or have any initiative and prefer to be on a mobile. Sad because the views are fantastic and it would be perfect for couples who want peace and quiet. Would liked to have supported the restaurant at night but we were the only ones there and tables not even set. If your on the peninsula be prepared to have to taxi into the Old Town where you will be spoilt for choice. Ex Formula 1 drivers have retired here so we always looked for the more mature gentlemen.

I'll start by saying many aspects of this hotel were amazing - the room, cleanliness, very helpful and kind staff and the sea access / bathing platforms. Other aspects let it down slightly. Management / owners were the only people who frequented the bar or around the pool - you rarely saw hotel guests frequenting these areas because of the very expensive prices. Breakfast was ok, service was a little relaxed and there was often a need to request bowls / spoons / milk / coffee etc. We noted a few maintenance issues but in general the public areas were well maintained. The TV in room had one channel, we would have appreciated the ability to get international news but I suppose that added to the relaxed vibe! The hill and terraces mean that this hotel isn't suited to those with mobility issues but that could be said for many places on the peninsula. We loved the setting and didn't mind a walk up the short steep hill for the Dolmus into town. If we had, we could have opted for a taxi. Top tips : consider making a reservation at Oburus Momus for dinner - it is within walking distance and the sunsets are to die for. The hotel next door has reasonably priced cocktails at the hotel bar and the beach bar. We would return as despite a few shortcomings the positives definitely outweighed any negatives for us,

We booked this hotel through Jet2 Holidays. It is a nice hotel but really I don't think it was ready for guests and the pictures on line are I would say enhanced so its not quite as nice as described. We stayed in a standard roof room which to be honest was tired . It needed a paint and a refresh. The safe wasn't working , there was no QR code for the mini bar , no information about the hotel in the room. The deck area was broken as was the sun screen on the balcony. Sometimes it was cleaned sometimes it wasn't . It was all a bit hit and miss. The spa was not available although the prices list did appear at reception on the day we were going home. When we asked about it the waiter simply shrugged. All this a little disappointing, but the view is lovely and in honesty we only slept in our room. It was a good size . Breakfast is served outside . The first day it was a buffet breakfast but was very limited , from then on we had a Turkish breakfast service to the table which was very nice but no juice is served and the fruit offering is very limited. We spent some time down on the deck by the sea but again it was bit help yourself, we asked for umbrella one day and then put them away and got them again the next day as no service was provided by the sea. The beach bar was out of use and a bit scruffy , There were no offers of drinks etc. We ate lunch at the hotel on the first day and were shocked that we were charged nearly £70 for a shared salad and calamari with 2 glasses of wine. Similarly we were shocked to find that 2 coffees came to £18.00. Suffice to say we did not eat or consume any drinks at the hotel. For lunch we went across the road to Riva and had a lovely lunch with 2 glasses of wine for the same cost of 2 coffees. You eat in the garden area over looking the sea it is very pleasant. I think the hotel really need to look at their prices as you feel like you are being ripped off. The hotel is well located for Kas. Reception staff will order a taxi which takes about 5 minutes to get into town. The town is lovely, very traditional and packed with lots of bars and restaurants all serving great food. We took the ferry one day over to Greece to a tiny island with a population of 300. The ferry only takes about 25 minutes and we had a lovely day. We also took a boat trip from the harbour to the sunken city with lots of stops for swims . I would definitely recommend it. We would return to Kas but would try a different hotel next time.
