My stay at the Atour Hotel in Kashgar Old City Scenic Area exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, right within the Old City, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The overall ambiance is great, facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the guest rooms are clean and tidy with meticulous attention to detail. The laundry service, which even delivers freshly laundered clothes back to your room, was a particularly thoughtful touch. There was a minor hiccup during my stay that initially led to an unpleasant experience. However, I was truly impressed by how the general manager promptly and skillfully resolved the issue with great emotional intelligence. It truly highlights that the service industry, at its core, is about human interaction. Problems are inevitable, but what's truly regrettable is avoidance or buck-passing. The ability to confront issues directly, without shirking responsibility, and proactively solve them is what truly matters. It was this sincere and responsible attitude that made our entire stay ultimately very comfortable. Considering the location, ambiance, facilities, cleanliness, and service, this hotel is highly recommended. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kashgar.

There's also a Cantonese restaurant on the second floor, so if you've had too much rich local food and crave something lighter, you don't need to go out; you can dine right inside the hotel. The hotel's service was impressive. The front desk staff were friendly and patiently answered all sorts of travel questions in detail. Whenever I needed assistance, they were proactive in helping. The room was excellent, the service was very satisfying, and the cleanliness was also great. The hotel features several buildings with unique Xinjiang characteristics and a distinctive decorating style that perfectly captures the region's essence. Staying here offered a truly unique experience. The hotel's location is also superb for tourists; it's very close to the ancient city and convenient for reaching other attractions. Later, when I head to other counties, I can easily rent a car directly from here. The breakfast was also delicious. Overall, I really loved this hotel.

The tatami rooms were all at the very end of the hallway, a bit dirty, and had terrible views. If they had just stated it was an end-of-hallway room, I wouldn't have booked it. The butler only called me after I had already checked in, and then claimed he couldn't find my booking for that day. Originally, I booked for two nights, but I quickly checked out and left. And let me complain about the breakfast. The servers they hired seemed like they were hired through connections – mostly good-looking staff who moved incredibly slowly. Not a single one was efficient. The most outrageous thing was when a large puddle of juice spilled on the floor. A server saw it, turned around, and walked away. I thought she was going to get cleaning supplies, but no, she just moved away to slack off. Guests' shoes were sticking to the juice on the floor! After about twenty minutes? It seemed like the chairman was arriving (I overheard the slacking server say this), and a female supervisor came to inspect. When she saw the mess on the floor, she grabbed a server and told them to get a mop. This is just bizarre! Can't they hire people who actually want to work? Is there no one in Kashgar who knows how to work? You can check the surveillance footage, around 10 AM on August 22nd, near the orange juice machine.
