Zhiyou Homestay (Kashgar Ancient City Scenic Area)

This guesthouse is lovely, with every corner thoughtfully designed – perfect for enjoying tea and taking photos. The location is excellent too; it’s close to popular Instagrammable spots, restaurants, and even the border pass office. It was a quiet and cozy stay.

Located in a residential area in the western part of the ancient city, it's surrounded by indigenous people. In the afternoons, local children played badminton, football, and bikes, while Uyghur women enjoyed the cool air outside their homes. After dark, children played hide-and-seek nearby. I stayed there for two nights and loved the atmosphere. The sanitation and service were excellent, and the owner was very nice! Worth a stay!

The guesthouse was located inside the Kashgar Old Town, making it incredibly convenient for my trip. It was wonderful to be able to stop by the guesthouse midway through my tour, making my trip even more relaxing and comfortable. Above all, the host was incredibly kind. He provided detailed travel information about Kashgar and even shared watermelon and fruit with us, which was a warm and inviting experience. It felt like staying at a cozy local guesthouse. Foreigners are welcome to stay here, and registration is seamless, so don't worry. I confidently recommend this guesthouse to all travelers, including those considering booking. This guesthouse is located inside the Old Town of Kashgar, making traveling incredibly convenient. It was so nice to be able to return for a short break during sightseeing—it made the entire trip feel much more relaxing and enjoyable. Above all, the host was exceptionally kind and welcoming. They generously shared helpful travel information about Kashgar and even offered us watermelon and other fresh fruits, which really made us feel the warmth and hospitality of the locals. It truly felt like staying at a cozy, family-run guesthouse. Foreigners can stay here without any issues, and registration with the local authorities is properly handled, so there's no need to worry. I highly recommend this place to all travelers, including foreigners who might be unsure about where to stay. You won’t regret it!

It's located inside the old town, so it's quite convenient and worth recommending!

I booked a room for two nights, but I couldn't get the room type I booked the first night, and the second night they told me there were no rooms available. Then I was transferred to another landlord. Putting aside the quality of the room, I just want to ask if this is reasonable? The owner of this guesthouse is too slippery; all they say is "uh-huh" and there are no clear answers. Even so, I didn't hear a single apology.

I was recommended to Zhiyou by a friend. She said the boss is very nice, doesn't talk much but is easy to get along with, and makes good coffee. When I arrived at Zhiyou, I felt that the environment was really nice and the facilities were relatively complete. When I went there, they were just cleaning the rooms that other people had stayed in. They were very serious and replaced all the bedding with new ones. This was a very normal thing and made me feel more at ease. There were some minor problems in the middle, but the boss solved them immediately and was very efficient. When checking out and chatting with the waiter, they kept praising the boss and saying he had a good heart. The boss was very generous and let me take a bottle of drink when I left. In short, it was a great experience to travel alone. By the way, the boss even went out to borrow a bicycle for me so that I could travel around the ancient city. Very satisfied! ! !

The owner of this B&B really deserves a big praise. Since I stayed in different B&Bs for two nights in Kashgar, I planned to stay in this one after I came back from the Pamir Plateau. However, I found this one while walking around the old street, added the owner's WeChat in advance, and asked him to help me buy things and prepare breakfast. I am very grateful for his great help. The B&B is very comfortable to stay in, and the clothes drying rack and electric fan are very thoughtful. I considered this hotel for a long time before deciding on it. It really exceeded my expectations. I recommend it with five stars.
