Porto Sani

Have just returned from our first trip to Sani, and I have to say, it really exceeded almost all of my expectations. We had a beautiful pool-view one-bedroom suite and a wonderful and very attentive concierge (Kostas). From breakfast, through lunch and dinner, the food was fabulous - so many options! There was no end of activities for all the family to enjoy, and the ladies at the Kids Club did a great job of helping my son (8yo) make friends. Overall, Sani is a quieter resort, relative to others perhaps that have drinks included, though this actually suited us better; we also particularly liked Porto Sani with it's low-rise buildings and very chilled ambiance (though still with plenty for the kids). Particular highlights were the treetop walk, the DJ at Ammos (thanks for the playlist Lazar!), the White Party, the food and the fabulous room, which was maintained perfectly by the wonderful housekeeping staff. Although the weather could be hit and miss in May, I think we went at the right time: plenty warm on most days, with the indoor pool (and kids club / spa) a great option for the one rainy day we had. I have a good feeling that we'll be back!

Rooms Porto Sani has amazing suites very similar to a mandarin oriental or one and only at this price point it’s hard to find better. No rooms are bad but ones with direct access to the kids pool suited us so we could leave one child asleep whilst the other played. Resort The layout is aesthetic and tasteful the architecture and limiting buildings to two stories lends a seem-less relaxing environment. If I were to be critical they have adults only areas which is great if you prefer dropping them in one of truly wonderful kids clubs but it does limit the area for the kids pools. Which are amazingly hot and little ones can enjoy them for longer. Perhaps a larger kids pool with larger slides for the 4-8 year olds would be the perfect solution but I accept everything has trade offs and the other facilities for 4 plus year olds is world leading bikes tennis adventure water sports. A week really isn’t long enough to scratch the surface Food The food is good to very good in most restaurants with kids menu's being very well tailored . The high end restaurants such as Lima are exceptional and touching world class think Nobu CUT or Hakkasan level Service This is the most shocking aspect. Whilst there were a few hiccups overall the service was spectacular. As soon as a drink is empty someone appears to refill it. At many high end resorts they advertise a concierge but really it’s just someone with a mobile At Sani our man Sergio organised everything in the blink of an eye restaurants baby sitting he was even spontaneous and bought me flowers for my wife’s birthday and put food in our room at 10pm as our arrival time meant we missed supper. I have to say he exceeded the service at the Amanzoe where we stayed at in the area in 2020 which costs about 3 times as much. Overall Whilst there are more luxurious resorts and perhaps ones with better kids facilities in some respects such as the Atlantis water park the marriage of family and luxury is world leading as a combination.

Great service and really good forest trails. A good work out and great fun tool highly recommended. Staff were really helpful and bikes were top quality. We will be back next time and try even more trails. Wet land trails are great if you have kids on the back as not so hilly and bumpy.

The hotel and food were amazing but the best part was doing the yoga with Sophie, she is absolutely amazing and works so hard at making early morning yoga the most amazing experience, she incorporates a warm cinnamon tea and chat at the end of the class. To save disappoin**ent as it’s very popular book beforehand, you can do this via the app.

I can only reiterate everything that has already been mentioned in all of the positive reviews. This was our first time staying at Sani, and we can not fault any aspect of it. We often have high expectations for our holidays, and sometimes these expectations are not met. This was definitely not the case at Sani. From the moment we were welcomed at the airport, we were embraced by Sani's good vibes. The resort has everything you need, especially with access to all the hotels and their facilities. The whole environment is extremely well maintained. The landscaping, accommodation, restaurants, gardens, pools, and beaches are all a pleasure to visit. We were especially impressed with the variety of food options; being able to experience all of the different restaurants was a huge bonus. However, what really stands out at Sani is the staff. The level and consistency of the service is outstanding. Every single person was friendly, polite and extremely good with our young children. They are a credit to the resort and really make it what it is. We could mention every member of staff, but a few are worth singling out due to their everyday interaction with our family. Demetrios was our Front Office Manager and looked after us every single day. Always on hand to help and make sure we had everything we needed. Teo at Sani Beach is just a fantastic human being and a complete natural at delivering friendly and professional service. Every day, he looked out for us and made a great impression on our whole family. (Bringing us the cocktail of the day also helped!) Thank you to everyone at Sani for making our holiday so enjoyable and memorable.

My family had a wonderful stay. Excellent range of activities for all ages. The staff are very friendly, restaurants are excellent, and resort is luxurious and modern. I had a super 1:1 session with personal trainer Tolis in the excellently equipped gym.

I had a fabulous time with Vangelis at our tour, he shared his deep knowledge of history, culture and the villages. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

Just returned home from our 6th visit to Sani Resort, marking our 5th stay at Porto Sani. Why do we keep coming back? There are countless reasons, but for me, it's the unmistakable feeling of being at home away from home. The service is truly exceptional; they treat you like family, and the entire team consistently goes the extra mile to ensure you and your family have an unforgettable experience. The culinary delights offered at the restaurants are beyond description, especially the divine dishes at Lima. I find myself struggling to find new ways to praise Mr. Pavel Murans and his entire team at Porto Sani. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Ioanna, Amando, Nikos, Sergo, Kostas, Angela, Erisa, Sofia, the manager at Elia, and the sommeliers at Lima & Elia (although I can't recall their names) and of course Mr Murans himself. Every interaction with them was characterised by superb service and genuine warmth. For those contemplating a visit to Porto Sani, let me assure you: you won't regret it. I'll be back next year with another review, same time, same place. Once again, you're welcome! :-)

The perfect place for our first family holiday abroad with twins. We felt so welcome and all anxiety of travelling with a young family vanished. Check in process was easy and done in the bedroom as we arrived late. All the staff are a credit to Sani team. They all went over and beyond to help. The what’s app service was useful too. The resort is made for families and everything we needed was provided in all restaurants and our 1 bed suite. The food was incredible in all the restaurants. We pre booked these before travelling which is recommended. Only thing I felt was missing was Asian/ Indian food but still plenty of choice especially with the dine around programme. We really appreciated being moved to another room when we checked out as our flight was late. Not only did we get another room to use but were also allowed to dine in the buffet before leaving so we could make sure the kids were fed. We were also given a farewell drink. Thank you to all the staff that looked after us! We did have some issues with mosquitoes so go prepared with repellant as they don’t provide this. We had a really enjoyable holiday at Sani and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
