The Boundary Yala

Located close to Gate 1 of Yale NP this place was a fantastic find. Large clean room, owner and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I recommend you have the evening meal as it was delicious. We did the morning safari tour which was great. The owner has a huge amount of knowledge of the area and animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE. My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Boundary Yala. The host, Kapila, is super kind and helps you with all requests you may have. In particular, Kapila’s professionalism and kindness are outstanding, his integrity absolute, and his knowledge of Sri Lanka, the area surrounding Yala National Park and the park itself endless. We often say that the hosts make the difference between a good and a bad experience. Kapila and his wife have made our stay at theirs simply amazing. They are kind and generous people. They will not shy away from helping you with transport, food, and any other thing. Of course, Kapila is not simply a host. He is also a safari guide, and a very good one. He knows every animal, plant and bird in Yala National Park. He is discrete, yet very open to discuss and share with us. A great conservationist and a true gentleman. Kapila, chapeau!
