Tibet Boutique Hotel

This hotel was absolutely perfect. It turns out booking this place was the best decision I made on my trip to Nepal 🏨. I never expected such an unassuming hotel to offer such excellent service and a comfortable stay. The hotel provides free airport pickup, which I pre-booked via email. After landing, I couldn't find the driver, so I called and emailed the front desk, and they tirelessly helped me out. The driver was very friendly and gave me an overview of Kathmandu on the way. The front desk even upgraded my room for free – staying in a suite all by myself was incredible! It had an entryway, a kitchen, and a super-sized bed that could easily sleep three. I practically died of happiness sleeping alone in that huge bed. Plus, you don't need to bring a travel adapter here; the room has universal outlets that accommodate most standard plugs 🔌, including Chinese plugs, directly. There were also disposable slippers and shower slippers, so I didn't need to bring my own. The air conditioning in the room was super powerful; coming back from exploring and having that cool air blow was so refreshing. They even provided an iron, so I could press my clothes that were wrinkled in my luggage and wear them, just like being at home. The hotel breakfast was also very generous, with different delicious options every day. The slightly spicy stir-fried noodles were incredibly fragrant, and there were various drinks. A staff member even proactively made me a special tea 🍵. Every staff member I met at this hotel was exceptionally warm and friendly, always smiling and greeting me like family. The front desk even gave me a Hada (a traditional ceremonial scarf). The hotel's location is also very convenient; you can walk directly to Durbar Square and Monkey Temple 🐒. I truly never expected such a perfect hotel to be tucked away in a small alley, making my Kathmandu trip even smoother and more wonderful.

The rooms are clean and pleasant. The food is absolutely delicious, and it's enjoyed by the international guests staying here too.

The only issue was that there were cockroaches at breakfast (on the food table). I understand that this can happen in a place with a lot of vegetation, but I'd ask them to check on that. It grossed me out.
