The motel is located very close to Katoomba's tourist hotspot, the Three Sisters. However, this also means it is a little further away from the city center, about a 30-minute walk to the train station and the many restaurants and shopping opportunities.
The rooms are all newly renovated and nicely furnished. There is also plenty of seating outside and even a BBQ area.
Unfortunately, there are no larger trash cans and the doors to the inner courtyard are a bit noisy.
We can't say much about the staff and service themselves, as we didn't have much contact with them and also prepared breakfast ourselves. Everything went smoothly during check-in and check-out.

I’ve stayed here several times, and have found it to be a good affordable option in a great location. Unfortunately my most recent stay has been very negative. Between 9.30pm and 10.30pm there was very loud noise just outside the room, which could be heard with headphones/music on. The same noise started again at 7am the next morning, and I checked out at 7.45am while the noise was still going.
I’ve contacted the hotel to discuss and have had no reply. I called reception three days ago, and was told my messages had been seen and escalated to a supervisor, but I’ve still heard nothing back.
Really poor customer service after a very disrupted stay.

Tables inside room were dusty and left uncleaned. No drinking water inside the room, had to shared kitchen to get it. Good for bagpackers but not for family and couple.

This is a traditional and very well thought out motel with rooms that are practically studio apartments and of a decent size, well equipped and with a good bed and sheets. My room was a little tired and worn but also very reasonably price.
