OYO 365 Kingsgate Transit Hotel

When you look for one of the dirtiest and un maintained accommodation of Sri Lanka visit the Kings Gate Airport Hotel. We booked and paid it for one night since our flight with our baby is on midnight, but left this unbelievable dirty and stinky place after 2 hours again. We want that everybody learns from our experience

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! As a single woman travelling, I booked a single bedroom, when I arrived they told me to sleep in a dirty, smelly 6-bed bedroom!! I already paid for it and they didn’t want to give back my money. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS CHEATERS!

I had booked this hotel through phone and I thought that the hotel should be well managed and clean, as they have put the pictures in the internet. Once I reached reached the hotel from Galle, the owner asked to pay the room amount first, and I paid it. However, once I reached the room, it seems to be horrible. The room seems to be dirty and smelled really bad, as it seemed it was not cleaned for many months. The hotel team asked me to stay for the while and will provide another room. But after 2 hours, I found the room that they are going to provide is too dirty with a terrible bad odor. I decided not to stay there and asked him to refund my money. But their excuse was that I kept my luggage for the time and they will not refund a single pence. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!! As the pictures provided in the internet are not real at all and they will scam you, as they did to me.

Very worst hotel. Smelly rooms, lift not working, rude staff. Done waste your money. The hotel people will treat you very badly. If you want to know the nature of hotel staff and owner please read the reply given by the hotel owner for the bad review given in every website.

Never go to this accommodation. Worst experience ever, no respect for the customers. They don’t do maintenance, instead charge from the customers saying ‘door handle broke’, cistern handle broke, hand shower broke’. Dirty bed, sheets, pillows, no proper drainage system in the bathroom, smelly bathroom. Mislead the customers by publishing colourful pictures in their website!!! Please beware of this place. Alert your friends and families too!!
