I was here for 3 days with my parents and we really had a really amazing stay. Besides the luxurious cottage and treatment, all the staff people were very warm and welcoming, from kitchen to security to the host. They all truly care about the quality of your stay. Also, an extra tip is to go with Hillary and Henry to do a bush walk just outside the lodge towards the river bank, where we saw hippos, elephants, buffalo’s and many birds from close and a beautiful scenery! So to conclude, it’s really worth your money and they make very sure fornuis to have a wonderful stay!

Spacious cottages and excellent service. Our waiter Godard was superb! If you love wild animals, you will be able to see warthogs and antilopes from the pool. In the lodge itself you might run into John the Elephant and mongoose. The wildlife experience at the lodge is really special. While the food was alright, it could be improved somewhat (especially the breakfast buffet, and overall less salt). Lastly, the boat tour at the nearby Kazinga channel was incredible with loads of elephants, hippos, birds and buffaloes.

Absolutely amazing place! Big, beautiful and clean lodges, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful location and view over the park with elephants and other animals close by. Staff even took care of our baby during every meal. Highly recommended.

Nice Lunch and very good staff. We Just stopped After a Game Drive and It was a perfect Place to relax a bit. Surely recommended. Thank you very much for hosting us for few hours. They also have a swimming pool if you want to cool a bit. Very very nice place.

Lovely lodge. Very homey. Staff were kind and the view was so nice. Elephants right outside our room and warthogs viewable from the pool. Rooms were comfy and clean. Staff very helpful. Highly recommend. We did game drives and walks are available at the lodge. I liked having a community nearby.

We had a phenomenal experience at the Buffalo Safari Lodge. Jesca and her team provided impeccable customer service and made us feel at home. We loved our accommodation which was very comfortable. All of our meals were delicious and our waiter Alfred was phenomenal. The swimming pool was very refreshing as it overlooked the park and we saw a lot of wildlife and tons of birds. We even got a visit from the resident elephant, John, which was a very nice treat. We will definitely come back to this lodge.

Really amazing experience at Buffalo Safari Lodge. We had come from Kigali so right after a long drive we were met with fresh juice and cool towels the freshen up. The staff were incredibly friendly and even taught us a little Lugandan! While at the pool we could see wildlife (including elephants!) enjoying a nearby watering hole. The food was delicious and the rooms were spacious and clean.

The staffs were kind. The room was clean and the water pressure of the shower was enough. But you should not forget you're in the great nature, should be careful about insects(especially mosquitoes), and even animals, when you're outside of the room. Please remember not to be surprised when you find geckoes in the bathroom. They are lovely and protects you from insects.

The service of all the staff was wonderful - especially Alfred. He took care of us at every meal and was very friendly. Plus he makes a terrific iced mocha. The views from the outside patio and pool are stunning. We saw many animals including elephants. Truly magical at moments. We always felt safe with the security escorts and they were also kind. The room was spacious and comfortable. Last, the hotel is conveniently located to many attractions. I’m glad we stayed here two nights.
