Super place! It's clean, has a lovely garden with banana trees, and free private parking. The food is good, and the entertainment is subtle, not pushy. The staff are friendly. The bar is a bit expensive. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, though some close in October. We recommend it!

Unacceptable !!!!!! The room we booked had nothing to do with the one we were given They put us in a basement with a broken refrigerator From the time we reported it at check in until the next day we had no information And after we reported it again they changed it

The description said it opened in 2024, but didn't mention that the "annex" was an old, dilapidated building from over a decade ago! The toilet leaked constantly, the wooden planks next door were incredibly noisy, and the mosquitoes were endless—two mosquito repellents were practically useless. I was repeatedly woken up by mosquitoes throughout the night. The entire room had old furnishings and a strong cat smell!

From start to finish from Management to waiters/waitresses to cleaning staff. All were exceptional very attentive to all our needs. The food was not hot at times however the friendly atmosphere created by the catering staff one could gladly overlook this minor detail. It was my partners Birthday and on arrival because of this and there was availability our room was upgraded. Our room was spacious and very comfortable even if we only had 1 English speaking tv channel which actually encouraged us to move away from the mundane normality of watching boring TV and truly relax and rejuvenate. The Tui reps gave us excellent advice of the surrounding area which we were able to explore and witness an amazing Sunset. We decided to get a massage and was surprisingly given a complimentary massage treatment on my partners birthday. The massage was truly relaxing and healing so to be gifted a massage for my partners birthday made her birthday truly special. The cleaning staff cleaned our room daily and sprayed a charming air fresher so our room was continually fresh. We participated in the in house entrainment which was varied and not dull and very engaging . The traditional dancing was great. Ekati Mare was a fantastic experience and we would like to take this time to thank all the staff for all the effort that is put into making Ekati Mare unforgettable and an amazing experience. Thank you wishing you all the Very Best Michael & Vicky From Bristol England. X

I stayed at the Ekati Mare with my sister for a week from the 21 September on a TUI holiday. I loved the hotel, staff were friendly and food was great. Negative aspects - We had to buy water, none offered and can’t drink tap water. The swim up room wasn’t worth paying for as it wasn’t private, every guest has access to the pool and sunbathing area. There were swim up rooms opposite so no view from the room. The first room we were given had no sun all day so no point having a swim up rooms opposite. The next room had sun in the morning only. The beach was fine with a short walk up the road. I wouldn’t go back as there was nothing for us in Kavos. We paid for excursions to Corfu town and a boat trip to Paxos and Anti Paxos. We didn’t want to hire a car. Excellent hotel if you just want to stay by the pool and beach.

If i could i would give 3.5 stars! I want to start by discussing the hotel itself (location, grounds, rooms and facilities): The hotel hotel is situated on the very beginning of the Kavos strip which if you dont know is a party location. Its situated far enough away from all of the bars and clubs that you cannot hear any of the noise but within 5 minutes walk are some more low-key bars that arent catered exclusively for young people. The hotels location is good in terms of where it is situated in kavos but it is a very long transfer from the airport and if you choose to do an excursion that takes you to or via corfu town - expect in excess of 1hr 30 mins transfer. the hotel grounds are very well maintained with my only complaints being how slippery the poolside was with me almost slipping atleast 3 times a day and i have seen other guests completely slip over and fall and the other being that there is a lot of road noise and the bikes and cars are sometimes very loud when you are eating in the restaurant, drinking in the bar or swimming in the pool (However we couldnt hear anything in our room). The room itself had some teething problems for us as when we arrived we had several issues such as the upstairs air conditioning unit being broken, one of the light fixtures was hanging off the wall and into the sink which could potentially have been very dangerous (and how this wasnt noticed by maintenance or cleaning I dont know) and one of the quilts was covered in stains that looked like secretion and other bodily fluids. all of these issues were fixed on day 2 as we arrived very late and there was nobody available to sort them out. the only other issue we encountered with the room was that the shower had issues draining (this concern was shared by majority of guests). In terms of facilities, the hotel was very well equipped with the gym being very good (even though the smith machine didnt work and there was no out of order sign which could be dangerous) the pool being ample size and there being just enough sunbeds that you didnt have to fight for them. Next I will talk about the service and staff: I want to start by applauding the work of the Entertainers - Leo and Maureen, the waiters - Wilfredo and Antonia, and Dawn on the reception. These members of staff worked very hard and genuinely transformed our holiday from one that could have been bad to one I genuinely will never forget. However - the same cant be said for all members of staff as many of the managers treat the other staff (especially the filipinos) in a horrific manner that is bordering on abusive. On our first night, one of the managers (a blonde man always wearing designer clothing) ruffled a waiters hair in a rough and degrading manner and by the next morning, he had had a haircut. NOT the way to do things in a hotel. The same manager was seen constantly doing nothing but intimidating the ground staff and being degrading towards them. We booked our holiday last minute with Tui based on the style of the hotel. We didn’t know it was in a place known for 18-30’s to party. So we were worried it would be not what we were looking for. But…we can’t not express how amazing our entire holiday was. The hotel was amazing and excellent value for money. It was just far enough from the strip that it wasn’t even noticed. The new beach club across the road had a high end feel with sunbed service, music and a restaurant/bar that I have no doubt will expand…but we loved being there as some of the first before everyone knows about it. Our rooms were well designed, spacious and stylish. But most importantly the staff were exceptional!! Attentive, friendly, enthusiastic and engaging! There were a few who we became close to and hugs exchanged when we left. There was a festival for the local church which we didn’t want to impose on but a couple of the ladies working there that we had connected with insisted that we were welcome and what a privilege it was to be welcomed. Our entertainers were outstanding and made our holiday! Special thanks to Leo, Constantina and (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) but the lovely lady who we told looked just like our friend Kate! Thank you for a wonderful family holiday!!

After booking this hotel, we made the mistake of reading the reviews and became quite worried about what we’d booked. We even considered changing hotels. Thankfully, we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, and we’re so glad we did because we had an amazing holiday. From our experience, it’s clear that the hotel has listened to previous feedback and made real improvements. It was obvious that they have worked hard to address the issues that had been mentioned in older reviews. We stayed in a room above the pool bar, and it was spotless. It was cleaned to a high standard every day, and we couldn’t fault it. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. A special mention has to go to the entertainment team, Leo and Maureen. They were fantastic—friendly, engaging, and full of energy. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and evening to make sure guests of all ages were having a great time. The only minor downside was that, every now and then, there was a slight smell from the shower drains. However, having stayed on several Greek islands before, we’ve experienced this elsewhere too, so it was definitely something we could see past. If you’re hesitant because of older reviews, I’d encourage you to give this hotel a chance. The management and staff are clearly committed to listening to feedback, making improvements, and providing guests with the best holiday possible. We’re really pleased we stayed here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Our stay at Ekati Mare Lifestyle Resort was nothing short of a dream! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality. The staff members are genuinely respectful, kind, and always ready to help with a warm smile. We stayed in a swim-up room, and it was absolutely worth it! Having direct access to the pool right from our room felt so luxurious and private. The food was another highlight of our trip. There was a huge variety of delicious options every single day, catering perfectly to everyone’s taste and preferences. We spent most of our days at the resort's private beach. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the crystal-clear sea, and take in the breathtaking views. The beach area is fully equipped with incredibly comfortable sunbeds, a fantastic beach bar, and a cozy coffee area. It had everything we needed to just unwind and enjoy the sun. Special Thanks to the Management A Special Birthday Surprise: I want to express my deepest gratitude to the General Manager and the wonderful team at Ekati Mare for making my birthday unforgettable! When they found out it was my birthday, they completely surprised me with a gorgeous birthday cake and a bottle of champagne. It was such a thoughtful, classy gesture that truly touched my heart and made our vacation extra special. Thank you, Ekati Mare, for being a beautiful part of our story! We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
