Fairfield Inn Kansas City Downtown/Union Hill

I liked the breakfast but no one refilled at all. When we checked out there was still no coffee.

Great buffet breakfast. Nearby KC Streetcar stop that runs for free to many attractions including Sea Life, City Market, the Plaza, UMKC. Room was clean. We had trouble with the TV but it was fixed promptly. Neighborhood is still getting renovated but seemed safe to walk to Streetcar stop and to a nearby church and restaurant.

It was a fine place to stay. The room was nice. It had a sink outside the toilet/shower which I always appreciate.

Reserved a room with 2 queen beds and was put in a room with 1 king bed. (Dad and 16 year old daughter).

Our stay at the Fairfield in Union Hill was great! The breakfast was plentiful and had a variety of options from healthy to sweet. The eggs weren't all soupy, either! Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower was really nice. I am pretty tall and they had a walk-in shower big enough for me! The staff was great. One member of staff told us about the history of the broadcast tower nearby. It was a really cool story and you should ask about it if you stay. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was cool, and very conveniently located to use the railcar and explore downtown. I will be staying here again. 👍👍

I stayed 3 nights, not one single day did housekeeping come by. I had to request for them to come get the trash and they never came, on top of that I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. My overall stay wasn’t so pleasant. But the beds are comfortable. So if you don’t mind a dirty room, mid breakfast, then I guess you will be fine.
