Domaine de Locguénolé & Spa - Relais & Chateaux

We had a fantastic stay in this fully renovated hotel. The staff were outstanding, and the location is stunning. Our room was located near the SPA and tennis courts and each morning we woke to the sound of birdsong. Set in woodlands and next to the river. We didn’t want to leave!

Favourite hotel! Already booked again for September. Chic, comfortable, spacious. Extraordinary setting. The rooms are beautiful, beds comfortable, and the attention to detail is apparent throughout.

Set in a stunning location our stay here was lovely. Very modern, clean accommodation and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the walks around the site, the bistro restaurant with exceptional food and the outdoor swimming pool. The three little goats in the lower field were a delight. The only negative was no air conditioning in the rooms and no gym.

Hotel located off the N165, arriving at private gated entrance with intercom for access down a long welcoming drive through the estate to the hotel. Stayed in this hotel many years ago and it was a bit run down, but not now. Apparently a €30million renovation has restored this beautiful chateau to its original glory. Rooms in the main hotel are beautiful. If you can, book one of the rooms to the rear of the main building with stunning views down to the river. There is also now accommodation in the outbuildings which is also set in the lovely grounds. There is also a very good five star spa in the outbuildings, as well as an excellent Michelin starred restaurant in the hotel..crucial to book in advance. Breakfast was also excellent as were the staff throughout the hotel. Highly recommended for a special occasion stay.

Excellent place to stay, wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, and lovely restaurant. We hope to return one day.
