Hotels near Fethiye Museum in Kesikkapi Mahallesi

We had a one night stay here and it was a great stay. The room was cozy but well laid out, recently built/renovated and the bathroom was lovely. Breakfast is served on the rooftop overlooking the city and it’s a decent meal. In the early hours of the morning, my wife had a medical emergency and despite the language barrier, the staff were able to call an ambulance and get us the help we needed quickly! Upon returning from the hospital to collect our belongings, the staff asked how my wife was which was great! I can’t compliment this hotel enough! Every interaction with the staff was great, as too were the amenities!

This is a great hotel for short stays or as a base from which to discover the Fethiye region. The hotel is a short walk from the Marina, the market and lots of restaurants, so we didn't mind that it wasn't beach-front. The best beaches in the area are outside the city anyway, so the location is a great compromise if you plan to do some exploring but also have easy access to amenities that are lacking further outside town. The rooms are brand new and very comfortable. We were welcomed by Gorkem who went out of his way to ensure our stay was pleasant. He was very kind and friendly, was very responsive to all our needs at all times, and even personally helped us arrange a rental car. If you choose to stay here, know you will be in good hands.

This hotel is said to be close to the sea. I drove by paragliding and island hopping. I drove through the sea but did not see the beach. It should take ten minutes to walk, but it’s close to that area. The location of the hotel is relatively close to the periphery. The large area is all small and small hotels, and the side near the sea will be better. The so-called apartment hotel is not the type of apartment booked in China. It’s just a room, not an apartment. It is a small villa built by residents divided into various rooms and then guests check in. So. I stayed here for two nights in different rooms. The first night was a triple room, the kind that father and mother brought a child. (Because there is no more room) This room is the second room on the right of the first floor. Bad review. The room is very small. Although the two of us, the luggage can not be opened at all, no place to put. If the family lives, it's really small. Basically lie down and go to bed without crowding. The toilet is slightly larger. And the sink is better than the second one. On the second night I changed to another room. On the second floor is a double room with pool view. The difference is that you can see the swimming pool by opening the balcony. The hotel's own swimming pool. This room is not very big but it is more comfortable than the first one. The only dissatisfaction is that the sink is too small and too small. Even if you brush your teeth and wash your face, it’s too small to wash your clothes. If you book this room, you can still live. On the first floor, you spent so much money living in a small hotel at 60.80 in China. These two rooms are only a few tens of dollars. The room was only 90 yuan in September. So probably measure it. The service is OK but don't talk about enthusiasm. Just a young guy who is very enthusiastic (as if he is the boss) will tell you what shopping mall eats. It's all good. Carrying luggage to the room is very welcoming. No pick-up, pick-up at the bus station, etc. Breakfast is not tasty. Not saying that we are not used to eating. Compared with other hotels, it is also very tasty. Foreigners also say that it is not tasty. 🤷‍♀️ The quilt in the room is a bath towel that is as big as the bed. You can make up for yourself. The parking lot is large. There are many locations outside the hotel. Many cars are parked at no charge. There is a parking space every time I go back. This is good. Suitable for children. There is a swimming pool in the hotel. Many children are playing. The swimming pool is also quite large. There are also some chairs for rest. You are charged at the hotel when you arrive at the site. Euros are charged, but he did not find me the euro. In short, the price is there. But the price is the same for a hotel. Room size Location Orientation. Before I went, I thought it was all a building, but now I feel a lot worse. (My male ticket wanted to cancel as soon as I saw the room. The hotel is very warm European style, the decoration is very delicate. The location is on a hillside, facing the sea, and the scenery is very good. The facilities in the room were a bit flimsy, a wall light fell off at night, but it was fixed the next day. For breakfast, Chinese people may not be used to eating many local cheeses and sauces.

Very satisfied. The room was narrow because it was a single room, but it was enough to rest alone. It is 3 minutes walk to the beach. The staff are friendly and the facilities are clean ~ Unfortunately, the hot water didn't come out, and only the cold water came out, and I liked the terrace, but it was the only thing that I saw was the building like a lung building in front of me. Very satisfied and well rested for the price.

From the pictures, I expected a nice spacious pool, with childrens/splash pool. I expected a rooftop terrace/sunbathing/relaxing area and a pool table. It seems that some changes have taken place since photos were posted online as there is no splash pool or pool table and the roof terrace is a barren, unwelcoming space. The pool now has a wall built up against one side, so along with the boundary wall, means it's flanked on all sides and doesn't receive enough sun to warm the pool, so even at the end of the season, after a summer of sun, its still freezing. As in other reviews, it seems rooms vary wildly. Ours was much nicer than our friend's, but our balcony was next to useless as it was completely shaded/baracaded by creeping plants. All of this, I could let slide, bearing in mind the price paid, but the service we received was a deal breaker for us. We like to drink late, often returning from town for a couple more at the bar before bed. On our first day we asked what time the bar closed and were basically told, whenever we wanted. We returned from town at 12.30am to complete darkness. We asked if the bar could be reopened and received a flat out ”no”. On another night we arrived back at the bar when it was still open, but later on, I think somewhere between 1.30 and 2.00am it shut down. That is understandable, but we didn't like the fact that we weren't told it was closing or asked if we wanted anything else, they just turned the lights out, shut everything down and left us sitting there in the dark! Despite this, 4 members of staff were still in the vicinity, one ”night watchman” and three others sitting chatting and looking at their phones. It seems bizarre, that you wouldn't keep the bar open and take our money, if you are hanging around anyway? Most of the time we were completely ignored by the staff, no one asked us how our day was or if we were enjoying our stay. There was one exception, one guy did make more of an effort to say hello and we had a brief conversation at the bar with him once in 10 days. For these reasons, we chose not to give the hotel any of our money and took our custom elsewhere as much as we could. We reckon the hotel lost out on at least £1000 in drinks from our group. Although the hotel had its faults, its close to the beach and more than adequate, so we may well have stayed again, had the customer experience been better.

Checked into Otel Eroglu in Fethiye. Rooms not ready so we left bags in lobby. Several of us left extra cash at the hotel as we were going from here to the beach. Checked in later. Room was nice size with a king and one twin bed. Put our bags on twin. Did have a small desk and a chair, but no lamp over the desk so a little dark working. No in-room safe or refrigerator. We did have a balcony, Room 101, so we could dry our clothes. Used the air conditioner overnight to cool the room. Bathroom shower had a proper sliding door so the bathroom floor stayed dry for a change. Nice rain shower head. Wall mounted body soap, no shampoo, conditioner or body lotion. Nice outdoor pool with lounges, chairs, and tables. Breakfast was bare bones. Hot foods included hotdogs, a tomato dish and hard- boiled eggs. Had fresh bread and jellies, olives, meats and cheeses. No cereal, milk, or fruit.

this is the most beautiful hotel! From the moment of booking to the moment of departure everything is perfect and even better! Upon arrival, we were greeted like relatives - in the shade in the fresh air they arranged a check-in, helped to connect to Wi-Fi. Told all the rules and useful information. We were escorted to the room, helped to carry our suitcases, although we did not ask. The rooms are clean, fresh, the furniture is good, the kitchen utensils are just right, there was even a toaster. 2 air conditioners - one in each room. Cleaned every 2 days. It is possible to rent beach towels (aprx 50 lire for each for the entire time of use) – big and good - very convenient! Distance to the sea is 10-12 minutes walk along quiet streets. The beach has always been deserted. I don’t remember such warm water for years. There are a large number of cafes and restaurants on the embankment at a very pleasant price by Russian standards. The pool and area around is always clean and well maintained. lots of flowers - very pretty! For lovers of a quiet family holiday - just right - distanced from the center, but a few minutes by taxi, which you can call at the reception at any time of the day. And you can rent bikes here too! I booked based on good reviews but ...... The apartment seemed ideal looking over the harbour at Fethiye. It also has excellent reviews. I booked a 'deluxe' suite at this apartotel and was offered the opportunity to 'upgrade'by ***********. I contacted the hotel and specifically asked them what benefit the upgrade would offer. They said the apartment booked was on the second floor and the higher priced apartment was on the third floor.i upgraded to a 'superior' suite. When we arrived I was told the apartment was on the first floor. I explained the apartment I had booked was on ta higher floor but was told the hotel was 'fully booked'. I reiterated the fact that I had booked many months earlier, and had upgraded to be told I had the 'same view'to which I pointed out that they had told me the more expensive room was on a higher floor. I was then told the room was unavailable due to 'water damage'. I have now been told I can change my room tomorrow but sadly the first day of my holiday has been spoilt as I cannot unpack and settle in. I hope my booked room will be available tomorrow but await further excuses. I have tried to contact *********** but sadly the WiFi signal is too poor ro enable contact. I just hope things are resolved tomorrow but beware ”upgrading' as you will just spend money for nothing. I thing the worst bit is that I was treated as if I was in the wrong. These sort of things ruin holidays. And BTW they say the Turkish system is that the first floor is called the 'second' floor etc, althouh this was not the case with my hotel in Istanbul.

Great location to town it’s a three minute walk to the cute alleyways to all the shops and restaurants Right across the street from the Harbor we paid for a Seaview and so glad we did I heard the other rooms just look over old buildings at the back The entrance & lobby is very cool and had nice air conditioning. Our room was very nice, very clean.The shower was beautiful - It had a sliding door so when you were in the shower you could look out to see the sea & Harbour TV selection for English was minimal but that’s ok Breakfast was fantastic a large selection hot and cold, fruits pastries cereals etc. What was the most fabulous thing about breakfast is it’s on the top floor where you have a fabulous views of the Harbor and it’s also a restaurant at night. It had a snack menu which you can go and order pizzas etc during the day very inexpensive. The staff at the hotel but very nice the lobby guys were always nice, the cleaning ladies were always very nice I did have a problem with some of the youngster at breakfast. They are constantly cleaning the tables with White trolley - that fabulous they are super cautious about clearing up I love that they’re attentive But they constantly pushed in front of me and it seemed they gave no regard to the paying customer.. if I’m walking up to go get a coffee and there’s a guy with a trolley I would’ve thought he would hold on & let me pass, but the youngsters always seemed to just plow ahead without any regard for their clients which I take is poor management - obviously they need to be taught that the customer should be allowed to go first, don’t intrude in the customers way etc. etc. This happened every morning. A lot of the staff were very young so I put that down to inexperience but really the management should have a heart to heart with their staff. One guy was exceptional & stood out -he was super friendly, short middle aged bald, always working hard to please everyone (sorry I didn’t get his name) I did enjoy the breakfast -though several other reviews said it was the same thing every morning The cold food was definitely the same -salads, bakery items cereals but the hot food was varied every day that we were there They had a coffee machine a large variety of juices, Turkish tea. I also noticed people ordering omelettes and smoothies which I believe are included. What was a little disappointment is the pool area - it is up on the top floor terrace it’s pretty much a small plunge pool which is really nice but super hot — only 2 umbrellas so barely any shade (Bear in mind it’s 90° ) they really very much needed some tall trees or palm trees or large plants to give shade to others who are unfortunate enough to not get an umbrella There is a boat that takes you to the Alesta Beach club (free) the boat ride is very nice it runs about 4 times a day 10:30 and every 2 hrs later (20 min ride) I must say I was a bit disappointed with the Beach club The bar area is lovely with great seats and fabulous
