Perfect location for us. Lovely big clean family room. Nice hot showers with good water pressure. Comfy beds. Perfectly cooked breakfast. First time staying in the lakes for us but the central location is ideal and the family room is plenty big enough for 4.

This was the 3rd time my group of friends have stayed at “The Dorchester” (as we’ve christened it ) & we’ve already booked for 2026! Lorraine & Simon are THE most friendly & accommodating hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms, all immaculately presented, comprise a selection of triple/family, twin/double, & singles, making it very easy to accommodate my group of 12. The breakfasts were delicious with loads of choice. The location is perfect, within a 5 minute walk of the Main Street, yet in a really quiet part of town .

Well here we are back home after another lovely break at Dorchester. We have been visiting for the last 4 years and can not praise or recommend this wonderful B&B enough really stunning with a good hearty breakfast. Lorraine & Simon take a bow.

An Exceptional Stay With Unbelievable Hospitality in the Heart of Keswick From the moment we booked, the communication from the hosts was outstanding—warm, prompt, and genuinely thoughtful. Every detail, from local tips to arrival arrangements, was handled with such care that we felt welcomed before we even stepped through the door. The hospitality we received was nothing short of exceptional. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—nothing was too much trouble. Whether it was preparing an early breakfast to accommodate our hiking plans, or simply taking time to recommend hidden gems in the local area, their level of personal service was truly remarkable. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated, blending charm with modern comfort. Every little touch Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Keswick.

We had a fantastic 3-day stay at this lovely guesthouse in a beautiful part of Keswick. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk to the town centre and stunning nearby walks. The hosts were truly exceptional, always putting our comfort first and going out of their way to accommodate our needs. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, and breakfast each morning was delicious. We felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. Highly recommended!

Lorraine and Simon made us really welcome. The B&B is scrupulously clean, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. We would not hesitate to stay there again . We had a lovely 4 night stay there in the spring and were very lucky with the weather
