Excellent service all weekend. first class service in the restaurant. Thanks to Sherrie on reception on the Saturday morning. A great help. Room excellent and clean. Plenty of room on the car park and a short taxi or bus ride into the city centre.

Decent Premier Inn. No issues. Staff helpful and large car park. Didn't eat any food at the pub so can't comment on that but there were other options it seemed. Taxi £10 to get into the city - reasonable. Would recommend a stay here though we only stayed one night.

What a waste of money booked a room 2 months in advance on arrival was informed lift out order wrong room reserved when booking the room I called the hotel Internet problem at my end and booked a Disabled friendly room for me and my partner not one on the 3rd floor they found a standed room on the ground floor looked at the room no way was we staying 7 nights in that not much bigger than a broom cupboard no hand rails near the toilet or shower 2nd room much bigger but no handrails.when I spoke with the male on reception about not being informed about the lift, his reply was I should have rang the hotel to ask if the lift was working? Was I supposed to ask have. you got breakfast, chef 👩‍🍳 or cleaners. If you decide to book a room, avoid room number 2. You have noise from the laundry day and night so much for a perfect night's sleep

The hotel is modern, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The room was well sound proofed and we had a great night's sleep. We did not have to check out until 12noon, when meant we had plenty of time to get ready for the wedding we were going to in the afternoon.

Stayed for two nights and the hotel was fantastic. Staff have a lot of time and felt very home like. Fantastic hotel. Well recommended. Has hair dryer, pillows, towls, bath matt, hair dryer and a mixture of body/hair wash if you forget your toiletries. Tv in room and good selection of hot drinks. Bath also very cosey and privacy policy is fantastic. Thank you Sherie for making our stay great, being patient with us and supporting us with the wifi.

Stayed 2 nights to attend a family event. Check in was fast and efficient very friendly receptionist and she kindly booked us in the restaurant for dinner and for breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable Wi-fi was excellent and nice big television with plenty of channels to watch. We had a carvery dinner in the Brewers Fayre next door and was very enjoyable and the servers were lovely and friendly and polite and took the time to chat to us. Breakfast was also very good all the usual suspects to eat and choice was plentiful. All in all a very enjoyable stay!

We found the free Wifi useless. It was slow to non existent. I wasn't prepared to risk paying for the upgrade to "ultimate wifi" just for 1 night. Irrirating - especially when other hotels / pubs provide something far superior baked into the price. Also very sad that you can only check in after 15:00 unless you want to pay an extra £10 per room (something that should have been made clearer to us at the time of booking) - beware. Again most other chains / pubs / hotels are happy to let you have your room early if its ready. Here Breakfast is £10 per head, but it competes with the nearby pub which is in walking distance which is £4 cheaper or if you upgrade 3 times bigger larger for a slightly lower price. All this just makes you feel you're being "had" by tricks used to increase Premier Inns revenue. Once you accept or dodge the tricks being played, you'll enjoy the stay.

We booked you stay here for a night as we were in the area for an event. As a family with young kids we checked in at 5pm on a Saturday and tried to get a quick dinner in the adjoining brewers fayre pub but were told it was fully booked. It looked almost empty! Luckily we found another pub nearby which was decent. However, the next morning we went down to get a breakfast at around 8.30am to be met by the same problem! Again, we were turned away with the reason given that they were fully booked! We've never had to book ahead for a premier Inn breakfast before. How can the hotel not cater for it's own guests for something as basic as the breakfast provision? There was no attempt to accommodate us, even despite us suggesting we could use one of the many empty tables in the non restaurant/pub drinking part. Ended up having to go elsewhere but kids disappointed as they were looking forward to it and we did not know it was essential to book ahead. Otherwise room was ok and comfortable. Just disappointing about the catering which was completely inadequate.
