Hotel Pavlou

Traveling for work and holiday, September 2022...bad choice for those who really want a quality stay. We start with a minimum contribution of €5 per person! who ask you to use the sunbeds on the beach, even if you obviously stay in their hotel. Rude and unfriendly staff, never smiles and seems as if they are "obliged" to offer their service to the customer. Only two people behaved differently, they were always cheerful and smiling: Mrs Elisabetta at the reception and Angelica, the bar waitress who I warmly thank. Breakfast was really poor and the same every day. English and American. If you want to eat something else, for example cereal with milk you have to pay the supplement. Prices outside the restaurant norm too. The fact that is really ridiculous is that they also charge you for the first coffee of the day, i.e. espresso is not included in breakfast. The only coffee they offer "free" is milk coffee, French type. We won't go back there again, because it's totally an absolute disappointment.

Location good, BUT expensive for what it offers: bathroom is 70's with no renovations - basin had black mold, dirt was coming out of the shower tiles, there were broken tiles in the shower and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and cracks. There was no wifi in the room and when we asked to fix it, they suggested we change rooms or go down to the reception. Unacceptable for a double room that costs more than 100 euros a night!! The balcony railings were rusty. Shame because it is a hotel where the front rooms have a great view.

We stayed 7 days. They were all very helpful and kind!!! Very good location, perfect view! Food and breakfast very good! Clean rooms and everything we needed was delivered immediately! Thank you for everything and we will see you next year for sure!!!

Well, if you want the worst in food, go for it it will make you appreciate others. To begin with, it feels like talking to nice people, who say yes, but who actually don't understand anything. The service is so slow that it makes you look like a city official. The requested things arrive but out of step. For example, a chicken fillet with black rice with "french fries" and mushroom sauce, will arrive without fries or sauce and with a salad burnt from being kept warm. In short, for the comparison it is worth it. You will appreciate all the others by the yardstick of the latter. I am not talking about the hotel which is very well placed facing the beaches but only the restaurant.

Μείναμε στο ξενοδοχείο αρχές Αυγούστου. Είχαμε δωμάτιο στον πρώτο όροφο, με θέα στο βουνό, αν και βλέπαμε και λίγο προς την θάλασσα. Ευχάριστο και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Καλή τοποθεσία πάνω στην θάλασσα, με ικανοποιητική παραλία （ για τα δεδομένα του Πόρου πάντα...） . Δεν είχαμε πρόβλημα με οσμές ή φασαρία κατά την διάρκεια της παραμονής μας. Χρειάζεται αυτοκίνητο για την μετάβαση προς το κέντρο του Πόρου,αλλιώς 35 λεπτά περπάτημα. Το μόνο παράπονο είναι με το πρωινό... Δεν υπάρχει μπουφές, μόνο δύο επιλογές ανάμεσα σε δύο διαφρορετικά είδη πρωινού.Περίεργη η επιλογή του περιεχομένου τους και πολύ μικρές οι ποσότητες βουτύρου και μαρμελάδων, τις οποίες όταν ζητούσαμε επιπλέον τις έφερναν με το σταγονόμετρο... Δεν υπάρχουν θέσεις στάθμευσης του ξενοδοχείου,αλλά βρίσκαμε θέση σχετικά κοντά όλη την ημέρα. Ικανοποιητικό ξενοδοχείο. Δεν ξέρω αν με σχεδόν 100 ευρώ την ημέρα θα μπορούσαμε να έχουμε βρει κάποια άλλη επλογή στον Πόρο.

Οσον αφορά τη κράτηση, γραφει pet friendly στο Booking, αλλα στο Hotel site λέει μονο για οδηγούς τυφλών...Επιπλέον το πρωινό μπορεί να βελτιωθει, αφού κρινεται ως μετριοτατο. Η θέα πίσω απαραδεκτη με επιπλα πεταμένα στην αυλή. Λεπτομερειες που χαλανε την ήδη αρκετά καλή εικόνα των δωματίων.
