We had an amazing time. The property is overall kept very well and superb activities for the kids to be engaged. The buffet menu in the restaurant was quite ordinary, especially on busy days like independence day (15th August), seemed like the chef was too busy to make anything innovative and the food was not upto the usual quality standard of Radisson. It looked like the chef was only busy trying to make all dishes in the tricolor and forgot about taste. Kindly improve on this as food is a big big component in any holiday. Rooms were great and was happy with everything but there needs A VERY VERY HEAVY PEST CONTROL TO BE DONE OVERALL IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL as there were silver fish (wood eaters) literally ALL OVER THE PLACE ESPECIALLY IN THE BATHROOMS. WE FOUND LOTS OF LIVE EVEN IN THE FRESH TOWELS. If not contained, there will be severe damage to the hotel property and it is a huge put off for any guest. Please take this with utmost priority.

This Resort should be banned immediately. The owners have kept some hard core criminals as staff. We spent a Sunday evening here. Since Saturday night crowd departed on Sunday afternoon, we were alone in resort (since this is a bogus resort, but we did not knew that) then at night around 12 am the staff attacked us. We ***aged to somehow reach our room after a brief fight. Full night we called police, resort owner, ***ager! Nobody came. Only the drunk staff came again and again banging our door. We were awake full night, in morning called help with personal contact and ***aged to get out of the resort. This reaort haurbors rapists and criminals as staff. The owner might be part of their deeds. If you value safety of your life and your friends and family...never ever stay here even if it is for free.

Management of hotel is excellent and have clear understanding of what is required to their customer. Neat hotel. Facilities provided is good. Good hygiene too. Supportive staffand nice culture. Keep it.

Excellent service as always, from booking, check-in, to the stay. It's become almost tradition to visit Dewdrop at least one a year, purely for the peace and quiet, excellently maintained property, superb service, and some of the tastiest fish dishes you'll find in Alibaug (no exaggeration!). The property is in a very safe area of Varsoli and surrounded by locals and other small home-stays only. Thanks to Ms. Pragati once again for a seamless check-in/check-out experience. Special thanks to Mr. Sanjyot, the owner of Dewdrop, for maintaining the quality of service through the years and employing honest, humble and hard-working staff who really complete the experience. The room we got was garden facing ground floor, Room was very Avg…no fridge, no hangers, was room was okay, however there was a lizard all the time on the window..the lock of the door was terrible and every time it was taking 5 mins to open it, Food options were ere not there, it was only thali and in breakfast it was only poha and upma. There was no one to serve Tea/coffee until 8:15 am, With the price hike they had because of long weekend…it was not at all worth, this should be not more than 1500 per day.

Poor experience, overpriced and very very rude staff This is the worst hotel I have stayed in recent times. The hotel manager Chaitangi Patil is nothing but a greedy woman who has absolutely no manners to talk. We booked 2 rooms for 5 of us. Paid 8k for one double and 11k for a triple room for an average 3 starish resort. We requested for early check in which they charged us 3k for one room and 4k for another. It was supposed to include breakfast. On reaching there they said we had to pay for breakfast and luckily I had specifically asked them on text if it included breakfast. They tried to dodge it saying we thought you were referring to the next days breakfast etc. finally they included it for me but not my friends room. The breakfast both days was paratha and upma the first day and Paratha and poha the next day. No variety at all. It's quite an overpriced waste of money. We asked for a late check out because we were here for meetings and I took my mother for a holiday. They said you have to leave at 11 sharp since we are overbooked. I cross checked on agoda and rooms were very much available. Infact our two rooms were the only rooms that were occupied. The entire resort is empty. Then she said you need to pay the entire days tariff if you want late check out. My point is that they are really expecting a miracle if they think all rooms will get sold out magically overnight. I was willing to pay half day for late check out but this is madness. Now I don't know where to make my 76 year old mother sit while we go for our meetings. This place is not safe. Also please note that there is loud music blasting into the night from some nearby resort. You won't be able to sleep till late. It's unfortunate we didn't stay at a small place with more warm and polite people. We thought expensive will be a good experience. Unfortunately with her continuous attempt to extract more and more money, she completely ruined our experience. We asked to speak to the owner and she said she is the owner. Didn't look like the owner of a big resort would be so I'll mannered to walk out and not be able to hold a civil and polite conversation. Now I'm disturbed by her anger and rudeness, I can't sleep because of the loud jarring music and my old mother is stressed where to sit if we don't have a hotel. Disgraceful, distasteful. Avoid!

The place is around 6km from Mandwa jetty and an auto ride will cost Rs 250. If you are interested in spending some quiet time away from the bustling Alibaug, then this could be a good choice. We visited on a weekday and there was no other booking. The charges for a day visit with room is Rs 1400 per head -- includes breakfast, lunch and tea. The charges for food only is Rs 1000 per head. The food was simple, but freshly cooked. The piping hot modaks with ghee are a must eat. You can also walk to the Awas beach from the back gate of the cottage and spend some time there too. Overall, good for a day visit.
