I especially appreciated having a good, jovial, and approachable manager, whose positive attitude created a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff. "The good reviews are all from quite long time ago. Now, I could see why for myself. The state of this place nowadays is an impudence. If you arrive half of the amenities are not working, old, broken, mouldy and rusty. At the same time they charge you as if they were a luxury place. Later I found a place in Kilifi for less money which was actually new and much nicer. If you order food you get tiny portions at double the price from restaurants in town which will actually be four times the price as you`re gonna have to order a second portion to fill your stomach/achieve a normal portion. The owner herself is a terribly unfriendly woman and a liar. I can only recommend: Stay away from that place."
