It's a nice house in a good location and I liked the owners and their daughter. But my room wasn't cleaned well enough and I didn't sleep well due to allergies. It needed vacuuming. But would have been comfortable otherwise.

The Herbert House was an elegant gem, hard to find in this day and age. Wonderful breakfast, attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

A friendly welcome at this sizable property with sufficient car parking. A very nice property with large rooms well maintained and comfortable. We were given a choice of two almost identical rooms. We chose one towards the rear and it was quiet even though the property is on a major road. There were two large beds so could be used by a family. The bed was comfortable and made up each day. Breakfast was at extra cost. Either a hot or cold breakfast was available and the food was good. We chose to eat in the conservatory attached to the house giving a pleasant view into the garden. We would recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Herbert House!! We were looking for a convenient, walkable location that was also quiet as we have a toddler. This place delivered!! We easily walked to downtown and restaurants but also enjoyed breakfast on site every morning. The family who runs this home is very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. For example the crib for our toddler was all set up and was a nice, cozy cot! Easy parking and a great place to come back to after we did the ring of Kerry! Don’t think twice - stay here!

Charming B&B. Everyone was warm and helpful; we had breakfast there both days, and it was probably the best breakfast we had in Ireland. Very clean, very comfortable, walking distance to town and across the street from a Hop On Hop Off bus stop. We feel very lucky to have been able to stay at Herbert House, a lovely place!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful property, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a 10 minute walk to downtown. We would love to stay here again !
