Crystal Springs B&B

Nothing is too much trouble for this host. Rooms, breakfast and service are literally exceptional! We will most definitely be back. Plenty of lovely garden space also with extensive breakfast menu. Rooms are spacious and decorated to a high quality.

Eileen is an absolute treasure and could not have done anything more to make our stay here more enjoyable. Breakfast was amazing (highly recommend the porridge and lemon pancake) and the whole place is beautiful. I could not recommend any higher!

We had stayed at this property for three day. Upon our arrival we were shown to our room. It also had a patio door and the key to the door was on the inside. We found it extremely difficult in opening and closing the door as the key would get jammed We never had a key to the door that opened to the inside of the house. After informing Eileen about this she said she would give us a spare key which we never got during our three day stay there. The jammed key lock was a fire hazard. We could not easily open and close the door from the inside or outside. Eileen also informed us that it was our responsibility to throw our trash at the city dump. After checking in, we noticed that the trash can in the bathroom still had the previous guest trash inside. She would only turn the heater on for a very short period of time for us. We would have to call her to please turn the heater on. She informed us that all appliances were controlled by them upstairs This was our experience. Look around there are many other places to stay. Eileen spoke to us so rudely informing us that she would charge us a per day for trash left her garden by the river and the summer room was a beautiful addition to her property however she did not seem to want us to use it. We would have to call her to turn the lights on and get the remote for the TV. She rudely told us that we were visitors here and as such should be eating outside and not bringing food to her property.

Our three nights at this place was a disaster. The boss Eileen started off very sweet and show us her new outdoor room and the property. But she had too many rules. We couldn’t turn the heater on in our room she had the control of it. And she would turn it off after an hour or so. She didn’t like the fact that we brought the food from outside and ate at her garden. And wanted us to take all the trash in a bag to city trash cans, which as a tourist we wouldn’t even know where that would be. Besides as a B&B owner she is responsible for such thing, not the guest. When we refused to take the trash she said she will charge us for each day. In her outdoor room TV, light etc were controlled by her. I definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Wow…. Just wow! This place was amazing. However, the service we received her was the best. The couple who owns this works non-stop to make sure that this beautiful place is perfect. The breakfasts are great. The dog, Harley, is a sweetheart. The river in the back is just the best. We will stay here again when we return.

From the drive up, to the entrance, the accommodations, the service, the food, the atmosphere, ALL of it was superb! The best part was Aleen, the lady who runs the place, she was an absolute delight! The creek side breakfast and the running spring were just gravy to an already wonderful experience. I highly recommend if you are in Killarney, stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Crystal Springs B&B. The rooms and the entire place were gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The owner, Eileen, was friendly and accommodating. They were in the process of adding a large outdoor patio, which I can imagine will be so relaxing to sit and watch the river flow by. If we are ever fortunate to return to Ireland we will not hesitate to stay at Crystal Springs again.

We had a quick but wonderful stay here! The host was so sweet and gave a warm welcome. The property is beautiful, as is the inside and the rooms. We were so happy with how spacious and clean the room was. I wish we could have stayed longer! We weren’t able to enjoy the breakfast since we were leaving very early to go for a hike, so the host brought us some sandwiches and cakes and snacks for our hiking trip instead! Such a thoughtful gesture. The location is perfect, a short walk into town. If you’re looking for the best B&B in Killarney, look no further! :)

I don’t normally stay in B&B’s…. So this was a totally different experience. First I should mention that our host was Eileen and she was very gracious and professional. Our room was over looking the river and was very spacious. I can’t say enough about the breakfast that was served to us. The B&B was within walking distance if you have no car.
