Great place for traditional Japanese onsen. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Great views of the dam and sunrise.

It has a family-run hotel feel, with some areas for parent-child activities. The free hot spring baths are not open-air; all open-air hot springs require a fee and reservation. The breakfast is so-so.

The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful, the food is exquisite, the rooms are a bit dilapidated, the water channels are a bit blocked, and there are no bathrooms. You have to go to the ancient bathhouses and hot springs to bathe. The beautiful hot springs have an additional charge.

It's about a 15-minute walk from Kazusa Kameyama Station. It's about a 13-minute walk from the Lapina Expressway Bus stop. I used it for a day trip. The bathing fee is 1,000 yen, and payment is accepted. There is a 25-degree cold spring bath, and alternating between this and the heated circulating bath is very refreshing. I felt lighter after bathing. The mineral concentration is also quite high. The water is chocolate-colored, and white hot spring deposits float in the bath. The hot spring bath is very nice.
