Kingscote Hotels with Airport pickup service

The location was excellent: facing the water and only 5 minute walk to town. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond regarding the environment: e. g. not just an in-room recycling bin, but also compost (which we did not find elsewhere in Australia), organic teas, etc. It is an old-style motel, down to the cinderblock walls, but our room was completely remodeled with a contemporary kitchen and bathroom, electric heat pumps, refinished hardwood floors, etc. The bed was very comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom unit with a great ocean view, which was quite large, with plenty of room for suitcases and shelving. We were quite happy with the accommodations and would recommend it to any friends planning to visit the island.

It is highly recommended to play on Kangaroo Island. It is suitable for many people or families. The interior environment is clean and hygienic. The boss is also super friendly. The evening can be in the backyard. The opposite side of the sea is the sea. It is close to the natural scenery because the hotel is in Kingscote. Therefore, it is relatively convenient to buy food and eat. I wish you all the fun of the friends of Kangaroo Island.

Nice hotel locating at Kingscote, Kangaroo Island. The beach next to is small but has beautiful scence. We stayed at upper delux floor which is spacious with kitchen and washing machine. Supermarket and restaurants are closed to but open up to 6:00 pm. Dinner can be served inside the hotel with laat order around 8:30. It's good for self drive that parking spaces are adequate.

It locates at American River island, ~40min driving from ferry terminal. The receptionist ladies who checked in for us and checked out for us were so friendly and nice. They made us very welcome. The room was very spacious, and faced to the river. Amazing view. Although it was near the street, the room was quite during my stay. No noises heard at that time. The bed was comforty and large. The bathroom was a bit small than what i thought. But it is okay. All facilities are included. The room was provided with microwave/cutley... Also they provide me with complimentary a bottle of wine, biscuits, potato chips and cookies. So glad that we did not need starving until next day (as we came late and no restaurant was open on KI) The breakfast was good, better food and coffee than other Cafe outside. The lady Yuki was very nice and friendly We definitely will come back again and recommend to other friends of mine.

Hotel conditions are not bad in Kangaroo Island, the parking lot is very large, the hotel is clean and hygienic, the check-in is convenient, the hotel only provides breakfast, there will be some restaurants and convenience stores in the town, very convenient

April 2024 We stayed in the Bayview Guest wing, perfect for the two of us, for our seven night stay. Although it is attached to Amani House, (so it can be hired as part of Amani too), it is very well sound proofed and we chatted to our neighbours at times but felt undisturbed by their presence. Fantastic views of the superb Emu Bay, surrounded by wildlife and we were made very welcome by Rene and Johannes. The lovely Rene visited us to make sure we had whatever we needed and she is very knowledgeable about KI and can answer any questions you might have. Everything we needed was supplied, including a welcome gift of a bottle of False Cape red wine, local honey and KI oats and the apar**ent was beautifully clean. An easy walk to the beautiful beach, friendly locals and a fifteen minute drive to Kingscote for a meal at the pub, or the local Italian. (Booking is a good idea!) From the time of our first communication with Kevin we were impressed with his friendly nature, and helpful travel tips and info for planning our stay. On arrival we were so delighted to find the spacious Penthouse apartment as advertised, spotlessly clean and delightfully decorated, with a lovely view over the trees and water. I really enjoyed Yvonne's photography of the island, a great feature. We were on the island for a week, so all the extras and ”little things” you'll find in the apartment were greatly appreciated. The kitchen contains everything you might need if you're eating in. It was delightful to sit and watch the endangered black cockatoos and other birdlife. Local walking tracks were so enjoyable and there was a selection of dining options in the town. We particurly enjoyed a Friday night meal at the Community Shed, with plenty of friendly locals. ”Sunrise on Falie” is a great spot to base yourself, if you can give yourself plenty of time to enjoy a moment to relax and enjoy the apartment too!

My partner and I stayed in Cabin 5 after being evacuated from the Flinders Chase due to the bushfires in the national park. The manager, Georgia, is lovely and very responsive over the phone, and was able to find us a cabin last minute given we had to forfeit other accomodation we had booked. She has been such a help to us and we are so grateful. The cabin was clean, well equipped and in a great location amongst the bush. The electric hot plate and microwave enabled us to cook a decent dinner and there was an aircon unit and fan to keep the place cool. We have stayed in many cabins around Australia so we love this type of accomodation. Highly recommend for anyone who likes bush accomodation!
