R Hotel Kingston

The location is great, and the surrounding area is very safe. The breakfast is just average, but the view from the rooftop is quite nice. You can use Uber to get around Kingston. It's very close to Dafon House, and there's also Kingston **** nearby. Their roast chicken is good.

The room wasn't big, but it was cozy and quiet. The breakfast was good, and the service was excellent.

The hotel is a small building, with standard apartment-style rooms. The decor is similar to that of a typical business hotel chain in China: simple and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering a chat whenever they arrive or leave. I chose a king-size room with a kitchenette, which is perfect for a frequent traveler like me, as it comes with a washer and dryer. The washer smells a bit strong, though, so I need to clean it first. The hotel is conveniently located, not far from the airport. Two blocks away, you can visit Fong House, the former residence of Jamaica's first black millionaire, and try famous Jamaican ice cream, Italian-run restaurants, and Jamaican **** chicken. For groceries, there's a large supermarket two blocks away, about a 12-minute walk.

I booked a car to the airport, but it was 20 minutes late.
